M4 handguards are ugly. They're chunky as fuck and uncomfortable to hold.

Honestly, for me whether or not I like a firearm often depends on the context. If it's some apocalyptic survival scenario (airsoft, virtual, or otherwise) a polymer/plastic M4 handguard would be a sight for sore eyes. But if you're running with a bunch of flattoperators it's no good.
Just like if it was a STALKER scenario, or something else where it'd be appropriate, a VSS would be a hella sweet gun, but in most contexts I'd give it a pass.

Also RASII isn't really milsim, and personally I don't find it appealing at all. If you're just buying it for the extra stability I'll give it an "eh, I guess".

I think that pistol's a little too near death to be feeling much at all. As much as I love KJW Hicapa's, they definitely have limits where a lot of the internals wear too much and your slide movement becomes as smooth as sandpaper.
Its fixable, but you can pretty much get a new hicapa for the same cost as getting decent replacement parts, so that's why I've been through 4 or 5 of the buggers.
I love the KP-08 grip, it's very comfy but ugly as sin.

Its also a really really smart design, it turns the grip, grip screws, and the front lower/rail into a single piece, so things are way more reliable down there.
I never really got to take it apart but my current hicapa comes apart and goes together pretty nicely. I love how easy it is to take down to nothing.

V2 gearbox shells are prone to this kind of failure, with some brands being more susceptible than others.
my gearbox didnt even crack when i played in 10 degree weather for an entire day :smile:

VFC Scar-L arrived! I was kind of disheartened when I heard a FPer say evike only carries CQC, but they gave me the STD (lel) version with a black flashhider in the box.
I just shot it and my pants are wet. JG G36 it was fun while it lasted.

Update, got some time to work on the shit today. After work I went to my local airsoft shop to see what they had and I picked up a prometheus bucking and some shims and when I got home I ordered a Li-po, Li-Po charger and 8mm bearings. This gun is truly some shit slapped together right now haha. But whatever I just want it working asap. Cyma trigger switch, trigger, cylinder head, bearing spring guide, inner barrel, body, and inner barrel. Polished G&G gearbox shell, G&G cylinder, piston, piston head, nozzle, tappet plate, spring, selector plate, and hop-up. SHS 13:1 gears. JG Blue motor. Pometheus hard bucking. Waiting on beariings to shim and test.
what lipo/charger/bearings did you buy
