I dunno, I've heard C-TAC AR's are actually really good, they come out of the box with high torque gears, new piston, metal piston heads & tightbores and shit

that's what I thought too, VFC rebrand
internals are exactly the same, it has the new body pin design, locking bolt feature, says made in taiwan, VFC fuse, aluminum body, 1 piece barrel, same tightbore barrel, 120rd midcap, and same shitty piston that broke in first 1000 shots.

what spring are you using?
whatever spring came stock. it was getting x420x blaze it FPS back in march but after some time it has worked its way down to 410, but im starting to think thats because it needs a checkup
well i guess you are just have good luck or something because most people i know i know who has a VFC says their piston is shit.
i opened it up after it being stock for like ~20k rounds and it was all fine, the piston had zero wear. I threw in my new gears and motor and now its doing like 22rps on a 7.4 and it has been like that since february with no problems
my VFC M4 came out of the box at 420, after lodsegames it's now shooting about 150-200 lol

Had an urge to put the G36 back together and paint it. Didn't really come out like I wanted, but it will do for now. The lower isn't painted because it will be swapped with my spare K length upper that's all black. And yes I know, hicaps are bad, but that's all I have for this old gun. Will be using my friends G36 PMAGs.

Yeah that's the one. Currently having either compression problems or the spring was compressed for too long. Shooting 200fps and I don't have the time to fix it up before the weekend.
I just found out that my piston was pulled all the way back, compressing my M100 spring since Sunday. I opened my gearbox to inspect it and nothing seems damaged, but how badly will that affect my FPS?
Shoot it and find out. There's no set ruling on how much FPS will drop after so many hours/days.
Reminds me of my g36
