Love the short mag. I'm incapable of running anything with a mag longer than the grip, so running an AK was always hard for me :v:

he doesn't like AKs with dong mags
Wut?
I'm the honorary "guy who goes prone a lot" and its hard to aim and shoot with huge ass mags in the way
so desert rat doesn't like AKs with standard magazines, and he doesn't like crane stocks. what else don't you like, just curious
wood furniture, g36s [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] magpul, too, last i heard have you grown on their products???

Just need a set of slim handguards to replace the ugly fat ones on there now. The metal body is a vast improvement over the TM ABS it was using before omg [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] ugh ignore the gap between the receivers, they didn't fit very well and I needed to modify them to make them mate [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] parts list i guess Tokyo Marui gearbox G&P M120 motor Tokyo Marui inner and outer barrels Tokyo Marui front sight G&P M16A1 upper receiver Dboys M4A1 lower receiver Dboys buffer tube Echo 1 CAR-15 stock Tokyo Marui M4 handguards NC Star AR-15 carry handle mount Unknown brand (from Taiwan) Aimpoint M2 R/G replica total cost $65 thanks to friends (ender and mike) that donated parts, M4SD kid, and Taiwan
i like how visible the difference is between the g&p and dboys finishes
i like how visible the difference is between the g&p and dboys finishes
I really really really want to give the dboys lower a layer of modeling matte like how I do with my tanks
so desert rat doesn't like AKs with standard magazines, and he doesn't like crane stocks. what else don't you like, just curious
Pretty much what killer said. I hate a lot of things, I accept that I have fucking retarded tastes and I'm ok with that. I don't berate others for their differing opinions though, different strokes and all that. My best buddy runs an AFG with thumb over bore, I think its stupid but I don't make fun of him for it or think of him as lesser. It works for him, and thats all that matters. I don't hate standard ak mags, I just dont prefer them. I do, however, despise crane stocks. even myyy g36??? :C
I wish I could afford to airsoft, it looks so fun.
even myyy g36??? :C
I love yours, most of FP's G36's I like, I just dont care for the whole G36K optic/carrying handle thingy [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] real steel they make me lol though
I, for one, like short AK mags and wish someone would make a midcap version. But anyway, onto the AAR for the VFC HK416c: Starting with the stock, since it was mentioned earlier, I found the length of pull to actually be an improvement over standard carbines/rifles, which is a big deal because I always used to extend buffershit stocks all the way. Fully extended, it's a tad longer than a fully compacted CTR(compared it to my uncles real steel AR). It forced me to hold it in tighter to my body, which was good and stuff. Also, it made it easier to transition to my weak side when using a 1 point sling. Range was p good for a short gun(I know barrel length means jack, but still). It was kind of funny because I had two short guns(MP5K and HK416c) and yet I was able to shoot almost all the way across the field :v: ROF was decent on a 7.4v 20-40c turnigy nanotech and deans. It's pretty heavy for it's size, so by the end of the day I was just running a vert grip and can(ditched the granate werfer and apaches red dot). Fed nicely from my MAG midcaps. I don't know, it's a good gun. If you're just going for a CQB rifle then I'd recommend VFC's actual stubby ARs, not the 416, but if you like the 416 look then go ahead, I like it. So I didn't run any facepro, just the glasses. Went well for about half the day until I got shot square on the tip of my nose. It bled lightly but turned out not to be that bad, and then in the last game I got shot right above the upper lip, but this one was even less damaging than the nose shot. I mostly got lit up on the arms, including from 4 feet away with a gold M9 :v: Here was my kit at the end of the day, save for boots and cammies. kit list: TMC 6094 (khaki), BFG ten speed triple AR mag pouch (black), Condor pistol mag pouch (CB), Arena goggle case (white), Condor EMT pouch (CB), Condor Modular accessory pouch (CB), BFG dump pouch (CB), US Flag patch (desert), Airsoft Nation Patch Alpha, "Bang One Bang Em All" patch (desert) Random pistol belt (sand), Condor dual flashbang pouch (CB), Phantom dump pouch (CB), Phantom drop leg holster (CB), Reverse US Flag patch (desert), Condor? horizontal pistol mag pouch (fake M81) "Evike" hat (sand), "Death Mechanic" patch (desert), Condor Stryker gloves (CB), Condor recon wrap (CB), "Evike" head wrap (sand), Edge glasses or something, 1x Hatch Xtak kneepad (black) VFC HK416c, KAC style vert grip, 30x110mm can, Turnigy 7.4v 1800mah 20-40c lipo, Asuka keychain KWA CZ75, FAKEPAT camo wrap 8 MAG STANAGs, 3 KWA CZ75 mags
you shouldnt keep a chemlight right where you shoulder your gun
you shouldnt keep a chemlight right where you shoulder your gun
I shoulder it slightly above and to the right of it, it doesn't get in the way [editline]7th July 2013[/editline] Really, when I run into trouble with my rig I fix it practically on the spot most of the time

oh my god terror made desert rat like G36s holy shit !!!!!!!!!!
I'd totally run that "dmr" one even as silly as it is
my advice though, lose the AFG, keep the RVG on the gun. the G36's too bulky to comfortably use with an AFG
Yeah I removed the AFG since it's too far forward and my arms aren't long enough to use it comfortably. Also, the area where you screw in the CCW barrel extension/flash hider is a bit loose. I can look down the barrel (lol safety) and the inner barrel doesn't move but the area around it with the threads wiggles a bit. Didn't do that when I first got it. Can fix?
