cool the JG g36 is the gun best mid-level AEG for the price IMO
I'd say the CYMA 74U personally
oh yeah CYMA aks are good too the internals are better on the CYMA too
Dammit, know I wanna buy a FAMAS, throw a G36 rail on it, and make it STANAG compatible
Dammit, know I wanna buy a FAMAS, throw a G36 rail on it, and make it STANAG compatible
So you pretty much want to make a VHS
This is what it looks like when you slap a g36 top rail on. I'm going to be making a custom upper/carry handle that's gonna use part of the g36 rail, Remove the bipod legs, and get an ergonomic foregrip. The end result will be something like this to give you an idea.
DISREGARD THIS POST i messed up on it
Just dont forget the cool cat original famas ifapper :c
This is what it looks like when you slap a g36 top rail on.
I wonder how that'd look with an Elcan or ACOG.
Hipster desert rat "i had a FAMAS before it was cool"
Hipster desert rat "i had a FAMAS before it was cool"
and then I realized how much of a piece of crap it was and gave up v:v:v
Second boneyard Famas arrived. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this gun. Just needed some assembly.

(the trijicon reflex has literally nothing to do with the acog besides being made by the same manufacturer) [editline]26th July 2013[/editline] dude check out the pistol variant of the acog!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh yeah CYMA aks are good too the internals are better on the CYMA too
I'm late but my experience with clones compels me to testify. I ordered a CYMA AKS-74u (CM035a to be specific) a few months ago, stripped it down after one game and retuned it since stock shimming is basically always bad...it's currently my only functioning, assembled AEG, hasn't failed me despite boneheaded errors on my part, and it runs nice; about 15-18 RPS w/ 7.4v lipo because I was an idiot and shimmed the bevel gear badly and lost RPS, pushing about 200 feet of range with a new bucking and my trusty .28s. Examining the internals in detail leads me to believe that they're comparable to G&G easily and then some, and probably at least equal to anything else of the typical pro-lines. Compared to my VFC's brittle guts this thing was a tank (even the stock grease wasn't excessive), and for only ~$90 when I got it on sale, it was well worthwhile, several times over. Somehow even the compression was down to +/- 5 FPS out of the box. The only major flaw I can think of was that the nub that came with it was seriously distorted and needed replacement, and the bucking was odd. It also seems to be picky about hi-caps, even the one that came with it didn't feed properly most of the time, so I rock mids for now.
I have acquired new gat! Can't really say how it shoots yet. All the bb's fell out of the hicap during shipping and the heavy ones I bought wont be here till later this week. The bipod weighs a ton, and I probably will end up not using it. It DOES have a slightly sluggish trigger response with my 7.4v, so I may buy a 11.1v. I feel like I need a very crisp trigger response with a gun like this. The scope nice, and I'm going to need to take my time and figure out how to zero it once I get some bbs in. 10/10 notrabies would do business again I also got the CAR stock for my M727. Still need the slim handguards, I'm just a bit dubious about it since I'm not sure my battery will fit.
wulfram for best gun collection 2013
You can fit certain types of lipo into slim handguards. I bought a real set from midwayuk and just pulled out one of the heatshields. It's a tight fit, but it's possible. It'd be a lot easier in the long term to rearwire the gun and use a stock tube lipo instead, though. I've been meaning to do it to mine for a long time.
wulfram for best gun collection 2013
Although ifap has a lot of secksi trophy gun owners, I say the best collection (off the top of my head) is tied between notrabies (shotguns), timebomb (DIY), ender (numerical superiority), taiwanese (asian numerical superiority), waxx (WWII) My b if I've missed you

Also I would need to buy a buffer tube thats actually sealed. The one I'm using now is one that would be used with a crane stock. rear wiring would also be more convenient for the awkward receiver setup I have. We'll see. [editline]26th July 2013[/editline]
wulfram for best gun collection 2013
I appreciate this, but there are so many people with better guns.
2 things for wulfram 1 is that the A&K or the G&P 2 why is it all rusty

[img_thumb]http://img.alibaba.com/img/pb/731/169/380/380169731_890.jpg[/img_thumb] You won't be able to collapse the stock with the battery in, but it keeps it from falling out. Same method also helps if your battery is too big to fit in the tube fully.
2 things for wulfram 1 is that the A&K or the G&P
how to receiver markings
2 things for wulfram 1 is that the A&K or the G&P 2 why is it all rusty
It says G&G in big bold letters on the receiver, and its used.

[editline]26th July 2013[/editline] which buttpads will fit the car stock? will ones that fit the LE stock also fit the CAR stock?
The one my brother has on his CAR stock is this sort of style, i think. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/658012/promag-recoil-pad-slip-over-ar-15-carbine-4-position-buttstock-us-stamped-rubber-black I think it's a little smaller so it fits on the CAR stock but won't fit on the slightly bigger LE stock.
Darn you people and your piles of working guns.
Can't really say how it shoots yet. They help a lot with ROF/trigger response, and frankly they won't melt or wear out in 20 uses like tamiyas do. Also, a MOSFET of some kind would get you there as they remove a gargantuan source of resistance (trigger block), and they save you from burning out you trigger contacts which will happen extremely fast on an 11.1. Before you test the range/accuracy you should shim the inner barrel and the hop arm to remove play, it will do wonders for your spread and it even helped a lot with a stock barrel which was utterly horrible quality.
