The one my brother has on his CAR stock is this sort of style, i think. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/658012/promag-recoil-pad-slip-over-ar-15-carbine-4-position-buttstock-us-stamped-rubber-black I think it's a little smaller so it fits on the CAR stock but won't fit on the slightly bigger LE stock.
Does that site also have slim handguards? I'd love to order everything from one site.
They should do. I ordered mine and my brother's buttplate from Midway's UK site. I'll see if i can find them. If they're on the UK site then i'll be amazed if they aren't on the US one. I think it's these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/392231/dpms-handguard-ar-15-carbine-length-with-heat-shield-synthetic-black They'll need a little work at the front with a file to get them to fit, but they're absolutely solid as a rock once you can get them on, and way better than any airsoft versions i've seen.
Sweet! Thanks!
Since I've gotten a few new guns I've figured I'd take a new family portrait. left to right: Custom M727( G&G gearbox), G&G SR-25, CYMA CM-35, KWA LM4, (top) Customized KJW KP-08, (bottom) KWA USP .45, KWA MP9. Not pictured: WE M9
I didn't see the G&G now i feel like an idiot well time to tie a noose...
the trijicon reflex has literally nothing to do with the acog besides being made by the same manufacturer
I saw it referred to as the ACOG Reflex in a few places, though after checking Trijicon's site, I can see you're right on this.
list them so we can go there, point our fingers at them and laugh
list them so we can go there, point our fingers at them and laugh
I think it was on AR15.com. I won't link them because they talk about real guns and real guns are scary.
-guns-
Is the CM-35 decent? I was looking to get back into airsoft and the price on it's decently low, which has me a little worried.
Is the CM-35 decent? I was looking to get back into airsoft and the price on it's decently low, which has me a little worried.
I havent fielded it yet, but it shoots fine and is solid. Though, if you dont mind paying a little more, you might as well get the better version http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_206&products_id=4739 iirc this version is steel, and is a clone of a better airsoft ak setup.
most every cyma ak numbered 031 and up has the same great internals but the steel ones (040, 045, 048, 050, 052) have obviously better externals and a better motor
Speaking of internals, how easy are they to break down? My friend had a non-cyma ak that was a massive pain in the ass to even get passed the battery compartment.
Speaking of internals, how easy are they to break down? My friend had a non-cyma ak that was a massive pain in the ass to even get passed the battery compartment.
The steel ones have VFC-style take down and are extremely easy. Can't vouch for the non-steel ones, but they have TM-style take down.
Is the CM-35 decent? I was looking to get back into airsoft and the price on it's decently low, which has me a little worried.
I've had three. They're probs my favorite gun of all time, and super cheap.
Thanks for the help guys, I'll probly spring the extra cash for the steel 045 over the 35. Edit: Also, whats the best mid cap mag that you've run in it that won't cost more than the gun to get a set of five?
MAG [editline].[/editline] Evike has a box of 5 but they're fake bakelite colored. Evike doesn't have a box set of black in stock, neither does ASGI.
Will the fit the 045/VFC ak's?
Yes
Noice, I'll stop asking questions now, thanks everybody!

Edit: Also, whats the best mid cap mag that you've run in it that won't cost more than the gun to get a set of five?
My MAG mags work great except for one out of every box seems kinda sketchy. I've got about 35 mags though so I'm alright. However, some people say they won't lock in all the way, or don't feed well if at all on some CYMAs.
I have a box of 5 of the plum colored MAG mags. Never had a problem, plus the color is nice.
I havent fielded the cm-35 just cause I've been having a hard time getting back into AEG's and I only have 2 highcaps and I've been meaning to buy some midcaps. Also I need a loadout to go with it and I want a railmount and a cmore.
Noice, I'll stop asking questions now, thanks everybody!
I feel like I ought to throw in my opinion. The VFC style takedown(I believe everything above, but not including 038) is infinitely better than the TM style. It's way simpler, faster to takedown, and more realistic. As for mags, I use CYMA waffles and they're awesome. Didn't even need to break them in, and they feed up to(and probably over) 30 rps. They're cheap(~$12) but are made out of very nice plastic
I just got a call from the postal service and my G36C will be here any moment now Pics to follow [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/BDickrn.jpg[/t] Aw yeah
Got the afg and the railcovers today, waiting for another set of railcovers, a sling and a slingringthing to arrive sometime, probably next month because dealextreme So a groupphoto of the big guys c:
That's a pretty AK, but it looks just a bit over-weathered, the rail is out of place and doesn't seem to serve a purpose atm, and I'm not much of a fan of carved-in graffiti any more. The AR is looking nice too but I'd spray those new parts black because they're pretty out of place right now. Alternatively, spray some more tan on it so that it matches. That's a bigass suppressor btw.
what happened to plurple furniture?

I have the rail on the AK because I had a reddot sight, but it broke so I took it off of the gun.
what happened to plurple furniture?
I still have it laying around, but I like it better with the wood. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] I also found out my backyard is perfect for getting that sovjet-look on photos
