I do like The Voyage Home, but Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country was the best Star Trek film ever.
Although, I do have to wonder when people will pick up Star Trek again on TV. It still gets ridiculous ratings despite being entirely reruns that are usually over a decade old and the latest movie was incredible. I need to see something pick up after the war with the Klingons in Star Trek: Online. You could do amazing things with that plot. And not Star Trek: Federation. That's too far in the future and though it looks good, I don't think it would be as good as one that takes place more closely to STO.

If it's related to the Borg, I look forward to whatever Star Trek-related production is released next.

Yeah, the plot in Federation is just fantastic but the setting is too abstract. 3000 is a little distant to be taken seriously.
I'd love to see a series based on Titan.

And then as a segue into the continuation of The Next Generation and a series based on the Aventine, we can have a three part miniseries where the Borg basically go batshit insane after a few months of attacking the Federation and attempt to kill just about everybody.
(if you don't get the reference, read the Destiny books...they're spectacular)

Eh, like I said earlier, if they bring it back, they'll probably end up just making yet another generic, angst-filled drama with convoluted plot.

As would I, but Jonathan Frakes is too old/big now.

The borg have been done to death.
We should do other things before reintroducing them IMO.
What would the name of the fetish be of being turned into a Borg? My friend was wondering.
wrong
Since the new movie is in an alternate universe we may not know what will happen next, maybe they will meet the borg a 100 years earlier?
And also if they do a new series it would be cool to have it in the 2500's with the war with the sphere builders that we saw briefly in Enterprise.
Or a series about the temporal cold war would be cool, featuring time travels most of the episodes to maybe familiar settings and maybe with a complex time travel story?
All I want is more Kate Mulgrew. Admiral Janeway cameo's go! :buddy:

If it's based on the Novelverse(technically canon in it's own right), then we can expect to see her quite a bit once she [sp]gets assimilated by the Borg[/sp] before she [sp]gets killed by Picard and the big-E[/sp].
The documentary where Shatner interviews all past and current captains (Patrick Stewart, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks, Scott Bakula, Chris Pin.) will air on July 21st.
Captain Picard: Mr. Worf, fire the strongest attack
Worf: Firing...it had no effect, Captain
Every episode of TNG
Never watched DS9, seen 1 episode of Enterprise and 3 episodes of TOS. I watched all, or at least the vast majority of the episodes of Voyager, however, but this was a bloody long while ago. Seen a fair few episodes of TNG too.

Someone manages to get on the bridge. Worf gets his ass kicked.

you owe it to yourself to watch DS9 and TNG

Yeah atleast DS9 it's awesome!
Yeah atleast DS9 it's awesome!
TNG is required watching for Star Trek. DS9 is a milestone everybody seems to miss. It's the least popular(purely in numbers, not reception) series, but it's, IMO, the best.
I acquired all the star trek movies, they're all sitting in my hard drive waiting for me to have a day off so I can have a marathon

At the end of the episode, Picard gives an inspiring speech

The Enterprise gets hit by a disruptor blast that shakes the entire ship, or another type of weapon that shouldn't have done any damage.

The Enterprise is put into a situation where it could obey treaties but die, or save themselves by retaliating and starting a war. Somehow captain picard finds a third option

Klingons decloak to aft, Romulans run like pussies.

After they tried to start a war.
I'm deeply offended that VOY didn't get a photo on the OP.
Voyager sucked me in when I was 15, and a few years later I ended up giving in to DS9, TNG and finally the original.
After seeing all of them, Voyager remains my top favored series of them all, and nothing will change that.
Also, fuck Enterprise. Why would you even mention that garbage?

Now?! FUCK YES. NO LIFE HERE I COME.
I don't remember TOS being so slow and almost boring. :/ Oh well, I have TNG and VOY to watch though for the 20th time again. lol.
