Oh god, I think they just added every Star Trek movie onto Canadian Netflix, I'm like losing my shit here.
Thats almost enough for me to get Netflix, but then I remembered I have all the movies on Blu-ray
Ahahah crap, only one TNG movie.
And it is Insurrection. God fucking damn it.

I liked Insurrection...
I liked it too. It was fun.
Trekcore has a great page for TNG Blu-ray including a comparison slideshow

I was instantly reminded of "In a Mirror Darkly"
I'm suprised ppl hate the 2009 version. I found it to be quite awesome and not too off-track, like you would expect with most re-invented movies.
I have the six TOS movies on DVD somewhere around my house. Sadly, I only got Generations, First Contact, and Insurrection on VHS. I had to rent Nemesis to see it.
And shit no Star Trek movies on instant in the US. Dammit, Canada.
I had, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise in best quality possible, with enterprise in 720p on my hdd along with bluray versions of the next generation movies.
Then the hdd crashed and i have now spent 3 month to acquire them all again, except the movies, i'm planning on buying this, can't decide though.

I just got some Star Trek novels to put on my e-Reader. The Lost Era series, which is shit like Sulu in command of the Excelsior all the way up to the destruction of the Enterprise-C.
I just watched Darmok again
Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel.
Sokath, his eyes uncovered
Aren't they supposed to be making another movie? One scheduled for a 2012 release?
On another note, I have to say the very original series is my favourite, just the attitude that's associated with Kirk and how Shatner acts is just amazing.
I've decided that if they ever make a new movie (Not alternate reality) or series, they should base it off of this:

Jonathan Frakes is too old and fat.
Jonathan Frakes is too old and fat.
Sadly. With CGI, Titan would be incredible. Or, better yet, Farscape-like puppetry. Most of the crew is nonhumanoid, so...
Jonathan Frakes is too old and fat.
more to the point no one is ever going to put any significant amount of money into anything related to TNG ever again, it's been far too long and nemesis killed any hope of that ever happening anyway
Jonathan Frakes is too old and fat.
You never say another word against Jonathan Frakes.
You know I'm just after watching Star Trek 2009 again, and I was just filled with bitterness the entire time I watched it, I remember coming out of the movies thinking it was alright, sorta indifferent to it, but now I just have utter contempt for what JJ Abrams made and the cast. I guess I had time to think it over and ponder the entire franchise and came to the realization that this upstart not only took something I held as a piece of my childhood and changed it forever, but also a legacy that has been in existence for 40 years with so many characters and stories gone in an instant.
I'm not sure its blind hatred of change, but hatred of the end, because lets face it this is not Star Trek it's "Star Trek". The only way it lives on is in bloody scifi novels and occasional fan-made series. I'm not sure if this is just a total rant or not and you can take of it what you will.
I enjoy the novels, especially the Enterprise novels that took place after the series, the Romulan War Arc was excellent.
Also I just finished re-watching Trek '09 as well and I still love it as much as I did in theatres. But I respect your opinion I won't debate it.

This would be my favorite scene, the part at the end always makes me smile.
Haha, I've been looking for that scene online for years.
Also, Worf sure did have a bad time on TNG. Most of the episodes wouldn't have happened if they had just done what Worf said.

I got this this week:

I ordered the full box even though it was just for the next generation movies, but it was because the full box was cheaper than the next generation box.
I got movies 1 -10 for DVD a few years back for around £150 - it was too bad only 4 of them had special features.

I bought the above one for 499 SEK. Which is about £72.

Trust me, I have a lot.
I like that part because the same scene appeared in both DS9 and the original series.

Those are blu-ray movies as well right?
I've just started reading Star Trek Titan, first book that I haven't been able to put down in quite a long time.

Yeah they are blurays, i don't care about buying dvds. That's why i can't wait for the next generation in bluray! And hopefully DS9, which is my favorite on bluray too soon.
Bleh, most of the movies aren't even worth owning save for Wrath of Khan, Undiscovered Country, The Voyage Home, Search for Spock, and the newest one.
Personally, I thought all of the TNG movies were crap.

They had good music - that's also the only saving grace for Final Frontier.
