Bleh, most of the movies aren't even worth owning save for Wrath of Khan, Undiscovered Country, The Voyage Home, Search for Spock, and the newest one. Personally, I thought all of the TNG movies were crap.
Generations was eh, First Contact was awesome, Insurrection was pretty good and Nemesis was... Nemesis.

I got the "Obsessed with Star Trek" electronic trivia book for Christmas. It was fun, you know until I started noticing they gave the wrong answer for some questions, I've found 4 so far. I think it might have been programming error, because the right answer is always there in the 4 possible answers, so I'm thinking they just put in the wrong variable, but still. Like it asks what class the USS Equinox is, and the answer is Nova and it is right there in the 4 possible answers, but the book is telling me it is Intrepid.
According to a female friends of mine, her ultimate fantasy is to enter her bedroom, see Patrick Stewart lying in her bed, obviously naked, but the sheets pulled up around his chest. His hands behind his head, but he brings one forward and points at her, one word coming forth: "Engage."
So, I'm watching The Captains, and it's actually pretty neat. Everybody should try to see it, if you can.
I would like to see it but i can't find a HD version of it.
It's on Netflix, if you've got access to it.
It's on Netflix, if you've got access to it.
Nope
Got the Original Series on DVD for Christmas, I'm about halfway through the first season at the moment. I saw the third when it was on TV a couple of months ago. Sky Atlantic have just started to season four of Voyager.
More TNG HD goodness http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/01/05/star-trek-tng-hd-exclusive-video/
Apparently Benedict Cumberbatch is gonna play the villain in the next Star Trek movie. http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118048137.html?cmpid=RSS|News|LatestNews&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Noel Clarke is also going to be in it. [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] Sampler Disc Bonus features http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/index.html#bonus
I've been wondering what Facepunch's opinion is on the uniforms used through Star Trek. Liked the Voyager ones and those that was used at the beginning of DS9 the most.
I've been wondering what Facepunch's opinion is on the uniforms used through Star Trek. Liked the Voyager ones and those that was used at the beginning of DS9 the most.
I agree, the only uniform i actually didn't like was those used in the beginning of TNG.
Personal favorite are the Dominion War era ones, from DS9 and the TNG movies.
i like the ones from the new movie. I mean they were basically the same ones from TOS, but they looked nicer. [editline]12th January 2012[/editline] The Late DS9/TNG movie ones are my second fave, but I always felt they looked too Military-ish with the Gray and Black.
TWOK and FC uniforms are my favourite.

My favourite of the uniforms. The Motion Picture ones are my least favourite, they're just awful.
Review + New Screens http://www.blu-raydefinition.com/reviews/star-trek-the-next-generation-the-next-level-blu-ray-review.html
Review + New Screens http://www.blu-raydefinition.com/reviews/star-trek-the-next-generation-the-next-level-blu-ray-review.html
Looks really good!
I enjoy the novels, especially the Enterprise novels that took place after the series, the Romulan War Arc was excellent. Also I just finished re-watching Trek '09 as well and I still love it as much as I did in theatres. But I respect your opinion I won't debate it.
I might start reading some of the DS9 novels. Maybe this one:
Its pretty cool I think when Actors get involved with Their characters stories, didn't the actor who played Garek help write a novel as well? Also, that Comparison video from a few weeks back, but now in actual HD [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZQetJVRu0I[/hd]
Oh so this shot here is completely redone in the CG [t]http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/review_images/Star_Trek_TNG_Next_Level_21.jpg[/t] I didn't even notice until it was pointed out to me in the article. (that and look at the Klingon ship, is proportions are way off) If you look closely at the Enterprise, you can tell its CG by the dodgy shading on the Neck, and the windows are modelled in.

Look at the details!

More Farpoint Caps http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/index.html#farp_ex Mostly Saucer Seperation And an interview http://trekmovie.com/2012/01/24/interview-mike-denise-okuda-talk-star-trek-tng-the-next-level-part-1/ It says that Ent-D/BOP shot is a matte painting.
Someone made a nice video montage of the current images we have compared to up scaled DVD shots
You know you've been watching too much Star Trek when you want some Klingon opera and a Bat'leth. And don't get me started on how badly I want a tricorder.
