Got the Star Trek The Next Generation The Next Level today, and i gotta say WOW! It feels like watching a movie made in 2012, really good video quality!
How many episodes have been released so far? I heard there were only a few made (Less than 5), or was that all wrong and the whole season 1 has been re-mastered?

The HD screenshots I've seen do look great, but I've also seen that they reveal a lot of stuff that otherwise wouldn't be as noticeable - stunt doubles and stuff. The Original Series was infamous for this anyway though, so it's not really an issue for me :v:.
They needed a stunt double to drop 6 feet?
Ah the new Big-E [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/469738043659752817/112C1ACD26BD00F8B603539FFF2AA20BEACC5B21/[/t] [editline]11th March 2012[/editline] In other news, the real Big-E is being decommissioned next year http://www.nola.com/military/index.ssf/2012/03/uss_enterprise_embarks_on_its.html

Generations has the best movie soundtrack ever made, every single track is pure bliss and emotional unlike most soundtracks. I think that's why its my favourite movie out of them all even if the plot isn't the best.

Should have been a life-sized Deep Space Nine, who wouldn't want to grab a drink at quarks? :v:

I like the Original Series and Next Generation the best but i'll watch Voyager, DS9 or Enterprise if they're on tv which is rare, Although most of the time you can catch Wrath of Kahn, Search for Spock, and The Voyage Home on HBO.
I miss Spike showing DS9 during the day. Now they show stupid shows now.
I miss Spike showing DS9 during the day. Now they show stupid shows now.
The BBC channel Occasionally shows some Next Generation episodes but that's like once in a blue moon since they play Top Gear re-runs all day.
I've been making my way through TNG on Netflix for the past 2 months. I'm up to Season 4, Episode 8 so far. I took a minor hiatus this past week due to work and other distractions, although I think I'm going to get back into my previous TNG groove.
I'm watching Next Gen and I'm hoping they finish cleaning (re-mastering) it up soon. I can accept the effects for what they are but the show looks really fuzzy these days, Voyager is much cleaner.
I'm going through my Voyager stuff, all 7 seasons. I really hope they remaster it some day.
I've been watching Voyager on Sky Atlantic since September, season six finishes this week. I've really enjoyed it, even though the internet seems to hate it.
Explain this, why is it that Data doesn't have emotions but Emergency Medical Hologram does? Found out about this band called Five Year Mission the other day - they're writing and recording songs for each of the 79 Original Series episodes. Thing is, they're actually well made:
http://www.startreklondon.com/ Never gone to a convention before, so this one will be the first. 5 captains plus 40 guests. I just decided that I have to go to at least one convention at some point just to see these people. that London seems like a great idea, plus I intend to board the steamboat with captain Morgan in Soho at some stage with friends. 2 birds one stone really.
Did anybody else notice how absolutely no starship phasers were fired in Star Trek VI?
Did anybody else notice how absolutely no starship phasers were fired in Star Trek VI?
My mind has been blown.
My mind has been blown.
It's just...they're such a primary weapon, and you never once see them be used in a movie with more than a few gun fights.

Wish I could go, seeing Avery Brooks and Kate Mulgrew in person, that would be great. That's one dream that's never going to come true sadly. Here's hoping they'll record most of it, I can settle with watching it online.
