Ugh, they're seriously going with the Khan plotline?
This is really stupid, my hopes for the film have dropped considerably now.
Dude, spoiler tag that, that's a really big spoiler.
[sp]And I have hopes they could do good with Khan. Benedict Cumberbatch has proven himself, I think it'll be awesome to see him in the role.[/sp]
I don't see how knowing the villain of a movie is a spoiler?
It'll probably even be revealed in the trailers.
I've just seen people react badly to that sorta thing, is all. Some like to keep it a pretty close in secret, avoid any spoilers of the type.
Why don't they do a new series in the 25th (2465) century where they have trans-warp and discover aliens that are completely different from humans. I wish they hadn't have left the series with 'Nemesis', I have liked to know what happened to Piccard.

Really? I've heard Khan won't be in this film.
I think what most "trekkies" hated about the first film is that they killed Romulus and Vulcan and they cast Chris Pine as Kirk, but that's just a guess.

I believe they've already said they're not doing Khan
I'm not believing this Trek Movie article.

I didn't. I stated in my post I don't believe the Trek Movie Article. They state no solid sources. I'll wait for a press release or something more official.

Comes from some geek on the 'inside'
Yeahhh no.
In other news, GeneralGrin (the guy (at least on of them) who makes all the TNG edits on youtube) has started to make edits of DS9. IF you haven't seen his TNG edits, watch them, they're great for a laugh.

If they go with [sp]Khan[/sp] as the villain that kind of takes the point of setting up the alternate universe in the last movie. They did it so they could do new stuff without pissing off fans.
This would be a rehash and it would piss off fans.
I don't want to believe that rumour.
Yeah, seriously with all the set leaks and pictures, we would have seen Klingons by now.
Someone is trolling us.
Watched this again recently on Sky love the twist.

I know I'm going to get shit for this, but I actually enjoyed Enterprise quite a bit. And DS9 was my favorite series.
Disagree fully about Enterprise, but DS9 is almost my favorite.
DS9 is my fave series. As for Enterprise I only like Season 4, it is also also the only season I own on DVD. There are very few episodes from the 1-3 that I like but not enough lot to justify buying the other seasons.
The Villain is not Khan.

The game reminds me of Star Trek Elite Force in some ways.
Does anyone else think that Bajor is a complete parallel to Palestine?

Wasn't that the one where you had to recalibrate the tricorder every now and then when the Borg showed up? Or was that a Voyager game?
Wasn't that the one where you had to recalibrate the tricorder every now and then when the Borg showed up? Or was that a Voyager game?
Yep, the Voyager game - which is still utilised to this day. Since RavenSoft allowed "The Last Outpost" group to package and distribute it for free with a roleplaying modification.

The original (or first game) was Elite Force. The one where you had to recalibrate the tricorder is Elite Force 2. It sucked. Sorry, I could never recalibrate it. NEVER.
Does anyone like Star Trek Online? I know it's free but I would like an opinion from some fellow trekkies on the merit of the game and whether or not it really is fun and truly "Star Trek."

It's great, but for an MMO, it has replayability issues. The endgame is just that- the end of the game.

it's not Khan because it's a remake of Star Trek: The Motion Picture
