MY SCALE MODEL OF THE USS ENTERPRISE JUST ARRIVED IN THE MAIL! MY TREKKIE ASPIRATIONS HAVE BEEN VALIDATED!
Which Enterprise? Please take pictures and video, too.
I have to say, after watching TNG, Voyager, some of Enterprise, DS9, TOS and the all the old movies, the 2009 film just looks a bit weird to me.
Which Enterprise? Please take pictures and video, too.
The Enterprise from the Original Series. And I don't have a camera unfortunately.
You should have bought an Enterprise D or E instead, they are more sexier.
I recon Voyager is the best looking ship myself, but Enterprise D and E are very sexy. Deep Space 9 would be a pretty cool model to make too.

DS9's model is terrible too. Don't buy it. I've heard vicious rumors about bad alignment...
My favourite ships are the Enterprise -A, -E, Nx01 and the one in the new film. I like the way the round disc in the old Enterprises seems to say that humanity built a ship around the flying saucer ideals, as if humanity said; "We thought aliens ships looked like this, but since they don't, we're going to use part of this design to represent ourselves" . Can't say I like Voyager all at. I'm not really game enough to buy a Star trek model though.
I'd love an already assembled one.
I've got an NX-01 and Enterprise-E that were models that didn't need assembled and they look quite nice.
I'd love an already assembled one.
You should stick to those Diamond Select replicas, I have a few, not bad toys, not bad at all. They said they are coming out with a Klingon bird of prey and a klingon distruptor soon, I'm not sure though.
I still have some of the models I made when I was like 10. I made the Enterprise-B, -C and -E. No pics of the -B, I lost that like 2 years ago. Here's the -C: [thumb]http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm479/FlickyROBLOX/2012-06-25195948.jpg[/thumb] I lost the right Nacelle after a while. Also, it's black on the edge because I was going for sort of a "battle damaged" look. And here's the -E: [thumb]http://i319.photobucket.com/albums/mm479/FlickyROBLOX/2012-06-25195841.jpg[/thumb] Sorry about the potato I used to take the pics with, it's starting to rot. Also, don't ask me why I thought painting the windows yellow was a good idea.
The Enterprise E looks too much like Voyager IMO, I think the D is the best.
I'm rewatching DS9 at the moment. My god the Bajorans are a fickle bunch. And I'm not convinced the principles of Darwinism are operating in the star trek universe.
Just pre-ordered Season 1 of TNG on Bluray. Bought it for 499 SEK which is a really good price. The only downside is that i will get it on 1st of August instead of Juli 23rd.
The Enterprise from the Original Series. And I don't have a camera unfortunately.
"NCC one-seven-oh-one. No bloody A, B, C, or D." My favourite of the various Enterprises.
Nobody really ever talks about Voyager. I always adored that and Next Generation.
I liked Voyager, watched the last Sky Atlantic run. For some reason, most people I've seen discuss it on the internet seem to hate it. I have no idea why, really.
I thought this was neat, in the TNG episode 'The Naked Now' Data finds out that the original Enterprise had a similar situation (TOS: The Naked Time). But on the computer screen it showed the Refit Enterprise from TMP. They fixed it in The Remastered to show the TOS Enterprise. [t]http://tng.trekcore.com/hd/albums/1x03/nakednow_hd_162.jpg[/t] TrekCore has HD caps for the Naked Now up http://tng.trekcore.com/hd/thumbnails.php?album=5&page=1
I want to get the remaster, but...it's season 1...
I'm late to the party looking at the screen caps, but now I can have this as a wall paper. http://tng.trekcore.com/hd/albums/1x03/nakednow_hd_344.jpg
Sadly, a few episodes have messed up sound. I really like this set, I recommend everyone to get it on Amazon ASAP if you want it. They have it for $59.99, I don't know for how long.
The new special effects look too new to fit the show to me. Dayum she's hot. Never really thought of it before.
Trek Core has a couple videos up showing screen cap comparisons http://www.youtube.com/user/trekcorevideo
Some of these women on Star Trek are beautiful. Also, Star Trek is fucking amazing and hilarious. I can't stop watching it.
I bought it, but what do you mean by "messed up sound"? For example, 11001001 has dialogue issues, at the beginning, everyone talks out of an intercom, (which what it sounds like) but then through the episode, it just sounds like everyone has an echo in their voice. This happens on Haven at the beginning and continues later on in the episode. CBS is "investigating" apparently.
