Times of war, etc etc.
Uhm. Except there wasn't a war till halfway through season 5. If Star Fleet had wanted to actually stop the insurgents, they would have sent a task force after them and not just one ship at a time. i think the problem is that 99% of starfleet officers and admirals are completely incompident in their jobs, janeway, picard, and the captain in ds9 (never watched the series much, was too busy watching voyager) thats why they had insurgents and borg problems, along with constant clashes with romulans, the kardashians, errm sry the cardasians, and even the odd klingon every now and then id love to see a series where starfleet had more balls, no more hippy stuff, thats kinda why stargate and battlestar galactica killed enterprise
id love to see a series where starfleet had more balls, no more hippy stuff, thats kinda why stargate and battlestar galactica killed enterprise
No it's because Enterprise was shit awful compared to those.
No it's because Enterprise was shit awful compared to those.
And Franchise fatigue. Star Trek was on the air continuously for 18 years. That's just too much. [editline]23rd December 2012[/editline] It's kinda ironic though. The USS Enterprise outlived the entire star trek franchise.
How is that ironic?

I grew up watching Voyager so that will always be my favourite I also recommend watching Enterprise, its not as bad as people say
I grew up watching Voyager so that will always be my favourite I also recommend watching Enterprise, its not as bad as people say
Yeah, it's honestly okay, it failed more because of the fact that CGI made it so that having a space based series was more affordable and there was a lot more on the market. Add that with the fact that there was franchise fatigue and how many people didn't even know a new star trek was on the air considering how they didn't use the franchise name in the title till season 3. Deep space 9 was the best to me.
Removed due to copyright by CBS, ugh. What was it unseen footage from the blurays?
It is the Season 2 Gag Reel from the Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Two Blu-Ray Set, located on Disc Three in Special Features. (whoops I seem to have gotten too specific)
http://stexcalibur.com/ Any one else pumped about this game? I've haven't seen it at all on fp yet. This is the map/UI that's going to be in quick battle mode. The blog post mentions they're aiming for a 2013 release.

Watch all of them.
You can watch TNG or TOS at any point and completely understand what's happening, but for things like Deep Space 9, you have to watch it all the way chronologically.
You can watch TNG or TOS at any point and completely understand what's happening, but for things like Deep Space 9, you have to watch it all the way chronologically.
for TNG and TOS mostly. But TNG will occasionally refer back to older episodes, and at other times completely forget an older episode happened.

What's the go with it all? I see a mention about the Nano FX renderer, was that designed by the guy who made NanoFX for BC or something? Their website is mind numbingly vague as to the history of the game they're building, that's all.
Watch all of them from TOS to ENT to see how they all learn from their mistakes.

But they grew frustrated at the limited Bridge Commander Engine so they decided to make an unofficial Bridge Commander 2 and a lot of the modding elite of the game moved over and joined too. The game engine was created by the same guy/people who did NanoFX mod for Bridge Commander.
So I was watching Ultimate Spiderman on Netflix and I noticed this Bottom left computer screen has a Keldon Class Cardassian Warship on it. [t]http://i.minus.com/ilMKEzQ4F3aSj.png[/t] [editline]11th January 2013[/editline] I just googled it, apparently it appears on quite a few screens in the series. Someone at the art department is a Star Trek fan.
I can see the resemblance but the Keldons aren't as elongated as they are in that scenny
I can see the resemblance but the Keldons aren't as elongated as they are in that scenny
looks like it's just stretced to fit that monitor... much like this We all know Picard isn't that wide.
I swear Star Trek is invading my mind at the moment. I watched the interview with Robert Picardo in Videos section, then started watching Voyager again, and now everywhere I look there's some mention of or reference to it Anyway, on Voyager, why is it that Durst's death in S1E15 goes practically unnoticed?
In Science class today, we mostly just watched an obscure episode of Star Trek. An episode my science teacher happened to be a guest star in somehow. Like him and his wife were there getting coached by Leonard Nimoy and Shatner. They ended up in a 10 minute episode where they replaced the captain, they were horrible actors.

I remember the episode, and then I looked it up on Memory Alpha, I see no such name or anything close to it.
I can see the resemblance but the Keldons aren't as elongated as they are in that scenny
As someone noted above, the image is stretched. it appears to be a stretched version of this image, text and stuff in between the two views. Just recently started watching Next Generation again and oh man, it's better than I remembered. I think I like Data the best, he just seems like such an interesting character to follow.
