Still Google has the balls to pull out of China because it believes in privacy and free speech.

I don't really care about Google going through my history or what I've done online. I have got nothing to hide. I also doubt that Google would be interested in my private life compared to the other billion users who are connected. I like Google. I use their services everyday and I don't have to pay anything. I like everything except for how they fucked up YouTube.

I, for one, welcome our new search engine over lords.

That video was so artistic but I just think the video is just trying to ruin a company like google. Who pissed in their kettle?

As soon as she started saying "GOOGLE WANT TO OWN YOUR LIFE" I knew what she was going to do. Maybe it's just me, but I don't care about pictures on google earth people being sick you can see every Saturday in town. I don't care they're having a lawsuit over building the largest online library, I also don't care they can store what i'm browsing. I have no reason to be worried about that, and if I was I would just stop using chrome/google.

Could somebody explain to me why people get so fussy if somebody stores your browsing activity? They don't give a shit if you look at scat porn, they're not selling it to anybody, and if you're not doing anything illegal in the first place, why would you give a shit? Same goes for everybody's paranoia about companies storing your DNA. Are you afraid somebody's going to make clones of you then use those clones to do evil deeds then blame it on you? That's why I always tell people never to trust google and be so dependent on it. It sounds like a conspiracy theory, but come on. People are naively believing in google's neutrality and honest look. All it takes is for google to censor all entries on "Coca-Cola" in the search engine, to allow Pepsi dominate the soda market. Can we really trust a company to take care of our lives? I say fuck Chrome, fuck Gmail and fuck everything new Google has to offer. Youtube and the search engine is already invading too much of our privacy.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if Google took over the universe.

In the future, Google will have its hands in many industries and countries, forcing down energy prices and bolstering the usefulness of the internet. Already, they are providing many FREE services and trying to open the internet up again. It is partially due to the efforts of Google that much of the internet is as open as it is. Google's efforts to get into the cellular industry are to compete directly with Apple, who is FAR worse than any other company for it's draconian actions and beliefs. Google is playing nice with the big boys right now, but once google has the money to make a move, they will fuck them up, and we will reap the benefits. The internet is freedom, and google is a part of that. Don't forget, Google was the first company to tell China to eat dicks and censor search results themselves.

Such a service does need to be paid for. And despite how irritating the adverts may be, either they pay for the site, or it's users do. Or is there something I'm overlooking here?
