I honestly think that soul is like an OS to a computer or a BIOS to a motherboard. All your brain neurons and stuff will be there (like a PC powered by electricity) but it will not work without the 'soul'.

You're right, it sounds stupid. Humans are not computers at all, that's only used as a loose comparison to the function of the brain. There is no code in the brain, there is no file formats there is none of that, it's just an organic structure that functions the way it does because it was developed that way through time.
Who cares if we have souls or not. We don't have a choice in the matter and we shouldn't base our lives on whether or not our choices will live on beyond our bodies. Live your life normally, it's the only thing you can prove. Why waste time trying to prove or disprove something so impossible to prove or disprove. You'll know when you're dead.

The brain is a functional computer. The file format is organic rather than metallic, memories are stored within neurons that hold certain states and will react depending upon the stimulus applied, etc.
We are computers, just very well-honed ones.

If you believe it's physical, we've got a good idea what's doing it. Your brain. If you think it's paranormal the footage is fuzzy and we never get a good shot and Ghost Hunters will dedicate an episode to it. If you believe it's spiritual (in some religions/traditions) if you look for it you'll never find it. It's not something that materializes at all.

I didnt say that your subconcious isnt a part of your brain. our awareness though is always outside, in the external reality. all i ment is that DMT is used as a tool to shift ones awarness from the external reality to the internal subconciouness. Its all real and its all their. as for the hive mind, that was my way of saying a collective subconcioness. if you think of the universe as 1 multi-celled organisim, then all those multiple cells are going to work for the benift of the whole.
New nerulogical studies are suggesting that we are much more connected to one and other than previously thought, my brian will mimic yours if you were moving your arm and i was not, further more it has been shown that if your touched on your right hand, and my right hand has been numbed completly, i will feel the touch as well.
