How does someone even grow mids? Growing dank weed is seriously easy
All weed strains can be really good if you treat the plant right, what you call mids is usually a good strain that has been grown and cared for badly.
My favorite part about this forum is when people talk about prices of their weed and the sense of pride people get from having the lowest prices in the thread.
But anyways, you're pretty much in a lock with the prices you're getting. After doing some math, you'd have to be charging some ridiculous prices to be getting any decent profit with the prices you're getting.
If you're serious about selling, you'll need to start from the bottom and work your way up. If you want to make a profit, you'll have to not make a profit first. Dealers that are selling to you aren't going to cut you a deal if they don't even know you, and if you're only buying an ounce at a time.
If you're hoping to learn anything by selling 1/2 ounce, you won't. It takes a lot of initial money to get started selling, which hopefully you'll make back through dealing. You need to invest in a large amount of marijuana and set up clients that will be loyal to you (meaning you are the most convenient dealer for them), and they'll keep coming back.
What you don't want to do is just sell willy nilly to anyone and everyone. You're more likely to get robbed, caught, or just generally fucked.
Anyways, I'm getting too much into specifics here. It sounds like you've already made up your mind not to deal, and with your attitude towards it, maybe that's what's best.

it always hurts me when someone asks me for even cheaper drugs while I offer them at already cheap price.
Picked up an 1/2oz for $175. Very shitty deal for the money, I was extremely pissed at my friends retarded dropout brother who doesn't know shit about business. They lived fucking 22 miles away, and you can get decent shit in town for $50 an 1/8th. I paid $45 per 1/8th and they were short BY ABOUT AN ENTIRE GRAM too. So I basically paid the extremely inflated street price, from a middle sized grower who lived in the middle of no ware....
Anyways, sold 1.0g for $20 and 3.0g for $50 last night and I have 9.4g left from my 1/2oz, so I still will get about $50 out of this whole thing (which is NOT worth my time seeing as I get paid $20 an hour for my part time job). It took like an hour and a half just to fucking drive to go get the weed not to mention an array of assorted transaction costs (gas, plastic baggies, phone minutes for deals, my personal time to go do the deals etc). The only reason why I went through with it was for learning experience.
At least I made back the money it took to buy the scale.... Unless a grow opportunity opens up I really don't see how dealing is worth it with my background and current economic standing.
That's not how dealing is supposed to work, read the comment I posted a week ago.
Don't sell for profits at start, sell to grow a stack of money and make regular satisfied customers. Personally I sell 3.5g of pretty nice mids/high-mids for 20$ (the usual price is 25$). I sell 7 grams for 40$, normally it's around 45-50$. I just started to sell and I do better prices than long-time dealers, so I'm making more customers, and then with my money-stack growing slowly, I'll eventually buy a QP, and then an Half-Pound, to then probably start growing for real.
Most likely setting up a grow op when I move out.
Basically I want some advice on risk vs reward.
Should I be punting my yields at bulk cost to dealers (already know a few guys and they'd give me no trouble), one time transactions at large intervals. High risk if caught on the transaction though.
Or, punting it myself in small weights, I forsee I'll make much more cheddar selling myself but then the risk shoots up of one of these people not being kosher. I then have my phone never stopping ringing, people possibly coming round my house and my work cut out shifting it all.
So, I really want your opinions.
Which has the highest risk?
A bulk sell has an extremely high risk on the transaction, you have alot less money than if you sold youself but you don't have a ton of kids always sniffing round you and yourself paranoid that one of them is going to shaft you.
I do have alot of would-be clients who I could trust but the problem arises when no matter how many times you ask, people start flinging your number about. This never used to bother me, but if that number is connected to my house with a shitload of plants in it, in my mind the risk starts getting a bit too palpable for me.

Sell by eights/fourth, so then kids with their fucking 5 bucks won't be able to buy from you. So sub-divise your stash in 3.5 grams and sell this ammount or the double (or more if you want). This way you select pretty much your customers.

There's no real secret in dealing, it's all about marketing and logic.
