I must have spent so many years playing this game.
how is jedi academy worse when it's essentially the same thing only newer.
That pretty much summed up every lightsaber duel I've had on that game ever.

It wasn't worse, it was just a half assed sequel that had a lot of lost potential.

Because *i just explained how lrn2read*
Thats like saying "People still play Doom?" old games are fun you know.
I know, but the sequel was much better in my opinion.
1 word.....nostalgia
Man i loved this game, this is how people actually play it.

Outcast without being patched was the best thing ever. Once patched, it lost some of the fun it had (simply due to bugs 'n stuff).

I actually recognise some of the names there, Nostalgia fit
I would be playing this, if ATI-opengl drivers dinn't break half of the old games I know.
Huh, Works fine for me on my ATi-Card with the latest drivers.
I have Dark Forces pack on Steam DF1 to Jedi Academy Boo yeah.
Neither JKO or JKA will load for me they just get stuck on the loading screen.

No, you didn't explain why one is better than the other, all you talked about was your personal playstyle preference in the first game, how does that have anything to do with one game being better when you can do the same exact thing in both games? I'm not sure if "saberrealisticcombat" is in JKA, but it has a lot more mods than JKO, and I'm sure at least one of them features that.

It's the same thing yeah, but JKA has a bunch of extra crap on top, which would be a good thing, but it interferes with the basic gameplay.
I loved this game, but I'm annoyed that he only uses the blue sword style :colbert:.

Yellow represent.
Yellow represent.
Red was the best.
Yellow you can do the decapitation flip, so there.
Best Star Wars game. Unlike the other ones, you actually feel like a jedi in this one :colbert:
Dark Forces II is the only game worth that comment..
Red was the best.
Red was good for one thing, and one thing alone, the lunge everything else was slow swings you could jump/roll away from
Great stance to master first though, Blue feels way to weak to do anything bar chop stormtroopers and that little crouch-uppercut to get people who miss a lunge, but then yellow decap flip could do that too.

When you're playing with red you have to play like a bitch and stay on the defensive. Red is about counter-attack. When you're on the offensive you should be switching from blue to yellow frequently.
Yeah the thing about red is that your parries stun the enemy.
I don't understand what is going on
I used to play Jedi Academy for about 3-4 years. It's one of the very few games I was really good at. And then someone comes with their shitty scissor/spam style and call themselves skilled players *shudder*
It's fun to make an npc war by spawning a bunch of good npc's and bad ones then get out the way.
