I don't think Equilibrium realised how much it was going to influence a certain, far more successful film. Still, good movie do
Another one from the same movie that stuck to me:
That got me so hard when I saw the movie in theaters.

I bought the movie because of this opening scene.
I actually fucking love this movie even though it's silly as fuck but I know a lot of people found it mediocre or hated it

Scary Movie 3 is the best of the series
That got me so hard when I saw the movie in theaters.
No I didn't mean it like that damnit
The second half of click was a big downer
Yeah, until the stupid unneeded twist near the end that almost ruined the mood for me single-handedly. [sp]The guy who made the remote is the literal Angel of Death. It comes out of nowhere. No foreshadowing, doesn't explain anything, he's just the angel of death now for some reason.[/sp]
[editline]27th October 2014[/editline] say what you want about the movie but this scene was a surprising visual treat [editline]27th October 2014[/editline] and it helps that zimmer for once doesnt go for the big epic orchestral sounding score during that fall
oops i clicked it thinking it was the Sam Raimi Spiderman 2 and i haven't seen The Amazing Spiderman 2 yet! but that was an extremely good scene for a spiderman movie wow

Spiderman 3 was an enormous pile of crud which made this scene such a surprise. It was really powerful.
I fucking loved this movie, in my opinion there wasn't a single bad scene past 60 minutes, but most people as well as critics found it shit.
I know I'm going to get some flak for this, but:
A fairly average Lord Nicolas Cage flick, but this scene stood out in particular to me.
The only reason anybody watched this movie.
But I enjoyed that movie fully, it was a visual treat, had some great actors involved and had plenty of great fight scenes. What was so bad about it that only that was worth seeing?

Plane crash notably. It was mind blowing in theaters from the sound alone. And the "numbers" predict the future thing was interesting. The "aliens" ending was kinda what ruined it for me though and felt like a cop-out to create a "happy" ending.

I don't remotely consider A Field in England medicore despite what a number of critics say, but this scene is undeniably disturbing. Best to watch in HD so you can see his face. And this is just pure visual porn

White Chicks is a terrible movie. Terry Crews is an awesome actor.
The entirety of Stargate is this in my opinion.

One of the movies I love is "Stand Up Guys". Can't really call it mediocre, but above average could be the better word. The movie is best described as a bunch of silly old fun between Al Pacino and Christopher Walken, and there was one moment when all the fun these old fucks are having takes a 180° turn out of nowhere when one of the characters die suddenly and the speech they give to him is beyond depressing. The movie is fun at best, very predictable at worst, but maybe I enjoy it because I am a sucker for Walken and Pacino.
Best car chase of all time. OF ALL TIME.
