I have recently finished watching avatar. I rather liked it; it had characters that I could care about, humor I could actually laugh with, and a pretty solid story that I could follow.
According to the Avatar extras originally Toph was gonna be a 16 year old boy.

Those 'commentaries' completely ruined it.
i think we can all agree on one thing
windows movie maker sucks
Finished rewatching the whole show... Feeling a bit sad.
So, I have always wondered:
Waterbending - Bloodbending
Firebending - Lightningbending
Earthbending - Metalbending
Airbending - ?
What's airbending specialty? Can they create a vacuum (vacuumbending ?) around an opponent?
Fart Bending
My favorite episode is Tales of Ba Sing Se
My automerge!!!
I wish they would've shown more of Ozai. Other than the finale, we never see him fighting.
So I browsed around an Avatar forum a bit... Now can anyone please explain to me: Why are all communities for anything with a cast of characters are divided by who fucks who?

I hate fandom.
That is why I stay away from it.
Well, if we are in this thread, and we like the show then we ARE fandom

There's a difference between liking something and being addicted to something.
We discuss the show and they discuss how they want Toph to fuck Sokka and how they made fancharacters.
^that's actually pretty accurate
Am I the only one that noticed it took a team of 5 or so Earthbenders to lift up a rock the size of a textbook in the movie adaptation?

We don't talk about that shit in here.

Hey guys, the wiki got it's old theme back, so now I can look at it without rage

Movie adaptation? There is no movie adaptation.
wait a minute
either that airbender in the intro is old aang, or the guy who ordered gyatso to send him to the eastern air temple
It's just an airbender...
maybe you're right, but whatever

Hooray!
Mike and Bryan have imagined a compelling new story inspired by the Airbender mythology that they so brilliantly crafted when the TV series began,” Johnson said. “This new avatar is not only a girl, but also hot-headed, independent and ready to take on the world.”
The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the adventures of the Avatar after Aang – a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra. With three of the four elements under her belt (Earth, Water, and Fire), Korra seeks to master the final element, Air. Her quest leads her to the epicenter of the modern “Avatar” world, Republic City – a metropolis that is fueled by steampunk technology. It is a virtual melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live and thrive. However, Korra discovers that Republic City is plagued by crime as well as a growing anti-bending revolution that threatens to rip it apart. Under the tutelage of Aang’s son, Tenzin, Korra begins her airbending training while dealing with the dangers at large.
