Thread bookmarked. For me, whenever I'm hungry I usually just fry eggs and bacon, possibly with some baked beans if I have some and always with a slice of toast. I could live off that shit for weeks.
When I'm hungry I usually just grill myself a sandwich on the stove. I really like a good turkey and colby jack sandwich on white bread.
I wrote this a while ago in a thread, though I'll re-toast this here. Ingredients: Grated Mozzarella Cheese Garlic Powder English Muffin Salt Margarine/Butter There isn't a set amount of the ingredients, just make sure it covers the surface area of the top side. Don't go overboard on the salt. If you're not sure, just take a look at the pictures. First step: Organize the ingredients It's nice to get everything in one spot before you start. I would suggest grating the cheese now. Second Step: Toast The English Muffin Not much explanation required here, I set my toaster on the middle setting with the Toast/Bagel dial turned to bagel. This takes about a minute in case you've never used a toaster before, so you may want to stare at the cat sitting next to you. Third Step: Buttering Get an even coating, you don't need too much, just make sure that it's moist. Fourth Step: Powder Application This is the part where you sprinkle the garlic powder on top of the english muffin, after you sprinkle the garlic powder, you can proceed to put a bit of salt on top. Fifth Step: Cheese Application Take the heap of cheese and distribute it across the english muffin. Any extra you may have can be consumed by you or the hungry dog that recently arrived. Sixth Step: Microwaving To avoid wasting more plates than you have to, reuse the plate from the grating process. After some experimentation, I found putting them in on the high setting for 35 seconds seems to be the most effective. Congratulations! You've created your own garlic toast in just a few minutes! Now eat it before it gets cold. This recipe is completely open-ended, you can add bacon, basil, different types of cheese or pepperoni. UPDATE: I personally skip the microwave and just pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees (F) and put them on a cookie sheet or a tray. I also sauté onions and red peppers in a pan, I usually place a bit of cheese on the english muffin, put the sautéd stuff on there and then a bit more cheese. With onions:
Grilled cheese sandwich only takes around 10 minutes to prepare
I sometimes take slices of pepperoni and fill them with shredded cheese, roll them up, and microwave them for 20 seconds. Those things are probably terrible for me, but they're so easy and taste awesome.
PROTIP: ANY sandwich is better if you crust it with parmesan. Just press some parmesan on one side of each of the 4 slices of bread, and skillet them cheese-side down. So good.

I find this quite tasty, but many people don't. I basically took some stuff from the fridge and made this, and this was the tastiest combo. Fridge Raid Sandwich You need: 2 pieces of bread Lettuce Cheese Chicken Bacon Tomatoes Pizza Sauce Put the chicken, bacon, and cheese in between (not on top or below) the bread, microwave it for 10-20 seconds, then put the rest of the stuff on. If you use a lot of the ingredients, just add another peice of bread in the middle (Big Mac style) to get some more bready taste. Krill. It's the easiest food to get in these parts of the ocean
Hey guys, I posted most of the recipes from recipe threads past in this document. http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AQb2HsjGM3OBZHF6eDd6bV8zNHo5bno0NGc2&hl=en&authkey=CInKhuIH Yellow highlights means I tried it and loved it.
Krill. It's the easiest food to get in these parts of the ocean
Today's catch was pretty oily. [editline]09:13PM[/editline] A recipe I like is a cheese quesadilla. Ingredients: - Tortilla - Shredded cheese packets of choice - Meats, Veggies (opt.) 1. Load cheese onto the tortilla 2. Put it in the microwave for 30sec Tastes good every now and then, is cheap, and super quick.
