This is rubbish, why don't Americans think of their own shows instead of just copying ours
hey faggot you took law and order
I may be wrong, but they created their own version of American Idol.
American Idol is the American version of the UK show Pop Idol. The only shows I know of which where American and then remade for the UK they are The Apprentice and Law and Order.

If any of you actually watched the first episode of the series instead of bitching about it then you would notice that its actually not bad, sure its not as good as the UK version but i don't think its trying to be better.
this is a funny show, i didnt think it was orignally british
USA Office is better but that might because I hate ricky gervais
Its because americans can't understand english accents. :downs:

Bottom line is, the show was already done and this is nothing more than a glorified scene for scene remake.
None of them look ugly or poor enough

Cause every single one of them reminds me a little... of me. They can all think for themselves! Which theyve me to thank for. Fiona! Whos a massive help. Lip, whos a bit of a gobshite, which is why nobody calls him Philip anymore. Ian - a lot like his mam which is handy for the others cause shes disappeared into thin air. And Carl! We darent let him grow his hair for two reasons; 1, it stands on end and makes him look like Toya and 2, nits love him. Debbie! Sent by God, total angel. Youve to check your change, but shell go miles out of her way to do you a favour. Plus Liam! Gunna be a star! Once weve got the fits under control. Steve; Fionas boyfriend. The truth is out there... NOT. Fantastic neighbours, Kev and Veronica! Lend you anythin - well, not anythin. But all of them to a man... who knows first and formost the most vital necessity is this life is they know how to throw a PARTY! Heh heh... Scatter!
Essentially what was said here with minor changes :v:
I've watched the first episode. Wasn't that bad if you try to wipe your memory of the UK version, not as good tho. ...our Office was better.
I love shameless But I wouldn't think an American version would do great though.
Never seen the British version, so I guess I better watch an episode before I watch this so I can get a good idea if the American version is any good. And I do agree, America's copying a lot of shit from over the pond, mainly because American television is a dying breed. Our most iconic show at the moment is about stupid orange guidos going out and catching STDs.

Shameless is one of my favourite shows, they better not butcher it with this foreign remake :colbert:
I've been watching this show so far, and I've been liking it. I don't know if I should watch Shameless UK version, because I'll have to catch up with 8 seasons or so.
Its awesome, can't stop watching.I want karen as my fuckbuddy :D Is the story the same on the UK version?
