Titanic didn't need to be a Cameron movie, Avatar is just a relapse of his career and everything else squished into 2 and a half hours
I'm nervous to think if his next movie carries along the same path because I can't be asked to watch something like Avatar again

Avatar may have not been some people's cup of tea, but it was sculpted by gods, it was what a perfect movie needs. why some people don't like it is a matter of opinion, but you cannot deny that Avatar is a good movie, formula wise. By the way, Titanic was a really good movie, but not Cameron's best, and I think if Cameron didn't make Titanic, it wouldn't have been nearly as good.
I want UP or Inglorious Basterds to win Best Picture.

I honestly couldn't care about who it was so long as it wasn't avatar. but hurt locker isn't a terrible choice.
