Who wants to see Taliban get gunned down from 15 feet away?

What's the rules when it comes to taping stuff like this? Can the guy who is recording release it as he wish or do he need some sort of clearance?
I totally understand that you did what you had to do, but for some reason when they went off road, all i could think of was, "Aw man, that sucks for that farmer."
What kind of dumb fuck taliban doesn't surrender when a uparmoured humvee chase at you with a 50 cal?
Those aren't the ones from 2003, they are the ones with bulletproof glass and blastdoors.
And pretty damn brave to go off road.
As a veteran of Afghanistan, mate, I can tell ya, those lads, the Taliban.
They're fucking dumb. Like, really, really dumb. One of the ones I bagged was trying to blend in with a rock. Imagine, beige, maybe tan rock, and some Arab guy crouching nearby, wearing a beige robe, COVERED IN LITTLE RED STRIPES! "I totally can't see ya. *BANG BANG!*"
Curse thee dust, I still didn't see the guys actually getting shot.
I MUST KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.
That's no Humvee, that shit is an MRAP. That thing takes IEDs and eats them for breakfast, it can totally withstand 7.62, no problem.
Yeah, basically if you have one of these things charging at you. You know your shit's gonna get fucked up. Real bad.

I think the only smart Taliban's are the one's running everthing
Here's another of close combat footage

In my opinion, they got it easy.
Being loaded with several rounds of a 50 cal is a hell of a messy way to go.
Then again, the taliban could have avoided the whole situation by not firing AK's at heavily armored vehicle when they were given the chance to peacefully surrender. That was just an idiotic, pointless throwing away of their own lives
That was badass.
Wow, despite how scary it is for the soldiers, imagine how it is for the guys they rolled up on. 2 guys standing in a wide open field, nowhere to hide, and 2 bulletproof armored cars roll up on you with guys shouting orders to unload on them. Yikes.
That was 15 meters, not 15 feet.
When you are that close to the enemy you don't stop to aim.
Remember, for soldiers, bullets are free, lives aren't.

Is this a version of that?
Did the guy got shot by the cameraman or was it another soldier? Because he looks like he wasn't aiming at all.
All the dust that was there let him see where he was aiming pretty damn well. Not to mention how many rounds he was firing.
He wasing exactly spraying like most people wouldve done in that situation. If he was panic firing he wouldve shot all over the place, but he kept to the same area. That leads me to believe he was using the poofs of dust on the ground to see where his shots were, and sweep around a bit to make sure he got them.
He also shot as soon as his gun was aimed in the right direction, meaning he knew he had enough rounds to spray, so he started off just shooting (most likely to get cover fire as fast as possible) and then corrected from there.

That's the Brit equivalent.
How, uh, how gory is the video? I've yet to watch it.

You can't see anything but puffs of dust.

I don't know about standard infantry, but special forces like seal teams, CIA, and Delta force have a no-filming policy. If they are filmed they have to have their faces blurred or black barred and their voices distorted. I doubt normal infantry is the same, but I wouldn't doubt it if they had to have it checked before they're allowed to take it home with them.

It's not gory at all, you can't even see the bodies.
Something about how the guy grabs the SAW and starts just spraying entertains me
I remember reading somewhere that you want to establish fire superiority within the first 5 seconds of a firefight.
I think 100 rounds into a small enclosed space is a quick and effective way of "achieving" that.

"that sand was very evil"
Kinda perverse to actually look at this from a FPS/actionmovie sort of view imo.

Who is doing that?
That's the Brit equivalent.
No, it's from South Africa.
I really enjoy watching videos like this for some reason. I guess it gives some clarity on how war actually is, as opposed to movies and video games.
There's a shitload of dust on it.
You'd think they'd seal it for dust and bumps for, you know, going into Afghanistan.
You'd think they'd seal it for dust and bumps for, you know, going into Afghanistan.
You can't simply seal a machine gun like that. The dust would not cause a failure to fire like that anyways. The bumps probably moved the ammunition belt and the round was not initially grabbed by the claw. Regardless, those machine guns are ridiculously reliable, failures like this one are pretty rare.
It's sad to see people succumb to these figures of authority and make them kill each other.
it's one form of employment.
you gotta have those minds of people occupied somehow.
They brainwash our children and train them to fight the Taliban
