Well since this thread is back; i really enjoy forza 4 from time to time, and really liked the way the live for speed demo felt, if only it were cheaper.
Forza 4 is for when I want to go hardcore simulation (almost... except for a few minor issues)
Same with F1 2011. Such a fantastically fun and intense game.
Dirt 3 is for when I want to have fun. Same with Shift 2.
hardcore simulation is what makes it fun, for me. I can't really get into arcadey feeling games. Project Cars feels too much like shift 2. I feel like i shouldn't be able to floor it around a 2nd gear corner with a lmp2 car and not spin.
