SWAT do not get payed any more than a regular officer of the same rank. SWAT members don't take the job for the pay, it's because they want to be a SWAT officer. If someone passed on the offer because they didn't think the pay was enough for the risk, the district could turn around and find 10 more people who would take a pay CUT just to be on the squad.
Too bad it's not a Danceoff, 'cause then it would be fucking rad and you could dance and shit.
