I missed the season opening due to a family outing, but was able to watch it today on the CW site. WOW. Great episode. I do think that the "Leviathans" trapped in Castiel now are the "Old Gods" from the Cuthulu mythos that H.P. Lovecraft was talking about. I should really read up on those stories in case it turns out to be true... Also I found it hilarious that Dean is apperentley into Hentai. EDIT: Holy Crap i think I've found one of my new favorite Cass moments. And it's not even on the show.
Just started rewatching season 1, the voice difference is scary.
Yeah, it's weird hearing Jared and Jensen in interviews when they aren't trying to sound like chain smokers.
Lucifer should somehow ressurect Azazel and have him have the deepest voice just to annoy the others.
Awesome episode, really felt like the old stuff.
Man. Two potentially dead main characters in one episode. It's only the 2nd episode of the season and it's already gotten intense. It's also feels kinda weird considering most episodes seem to happen at least a couple days apart, but these ones are flowing consistently. Also, the Leviathan's mouths are freaky. I was not expecting it to open like that.
Bobby better not be dead you just can't kill Bobby, he's Bobby
Bobby better not be dead you just can't kill Bobby, he's Bobby
To be fair Lucifer killed Bobby no problem and was only brought back by super-mojo'd Cas. Also a Leviathan is most likely stronger than the strongest archangel.

I sense a plot about freeing Michael from the cage to kill the leviathans.
This has been disappointing, the Leviathans aren't that threatening or dangerous. Well in comparison to the shit they faced so far, this has to be the least threatening.

Just sayin'
This season feels really strange so far it feels like they're trying too hard to distance themselves from last season, but without developing much of an overall plot for this season, i mean i just watched the girl next door and it was pretty all over the place, some parts were trying to establish a plot while others were the same old Hurr Durr i don't trust sam! stuff from Dean.
[sp]I bet the Leviathan boss has Jimmy Novak/Castiel as his vessel.[/sp] Just a wild guess.[sp]Or did someone mention this before?[/sp]
This last episode was kinda boring. Also, [sp]who else thinks Bobby is a leviathan?[/sp] also, flashback kitsune is hot
I also liked that the Kitsune was called Amy Pond.
I also liked that the Kitsune was called Amy Pond.
I honestly thought that it was a stupid name for Jewel Staite's character. The name worked in Doctor Who, but in Supernatural, it really didn't fit. I also really didn't enjoy this episode, it is not that it was horrible, it just didn't feel like it fit in. To me, it felt like the scenes with the Leviathan were just added so that writing crew could say "Look, this episode does actually tie into the rest of the series"
What went on with Dean aswell felt like a bit of Character assassination in some sense but now i think about it Dean is meant to be like his dad so i guess it makes sense.
Rewatching 4x11, "Family Remains" and holy shit is it scary. Scariest episode in the series. Funny how the episodes are scariest when the baddies are just human. :v:

Fuck me I just finished 'On the Head of a Pin' (season 4, episode 16), this series is on a whole new level, it's fucking incredible I was glued to the screen
I sort of lost interest in this show, its becoming more of what Smallville during its last few seasons. Too much talking, and not enough demon killing.

[editline]wad[/editline] I also liked[sp]James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter[/sp]as guest stars.
Going to watch the next episode Slash Fiction in a few minutes.
Slash Fiction was quite a good episode, i thought.
