I bet that they will give a lamer excuse for it if they ever explain it.

I'm waiting for an episode where God finally reveals himself in some way.

I am hoping for some Chuck love on that subject.
I'm fairly certain that [sp]God is the one who keeps bringing Castiel back[/sp]
[sp]I wasn't sure if that would be considered a spoiler, so I thought, better safe than sorry.
I don't know. Lucifer blowing him up was definitely intervened by god. I don't think him exploding from the leviathans was though. Something tells me that the other angels won't be coming back though. It sort of makes me think that Castiel is just special. It was definitely god the first time, but the second time I don't think was.[/sp]

I wouldn't be surprised if [sp]God took a special interest in Castiel. Him being killed and brought back several times had to be divine intervention on God's part. The other angels, not so much, but Castiel, there is more to him than we know when it comes to that aspect.[/sp]

[sp]Either God keeps doing it or Castiel is just special. It might be a combination of the two really. He might be special so God keeps bringing him back.[/sp]
Castiel is actually Jesus in witness protection.
The random-ass cat penis comment from Cas was hilarious jesus christ

That episode was quite entertaining, it was also funny that[sp]the alpha vamp said ''see you next season''[/sp].
Although i don't really care for the leviathans, Dick Roman is brilliant.

His smile is painful to watch.

It's funny cause the guys are hunters. I kinda liked the monster of the week thing better. But I gotta say Dick Roman makes it bearable.
"Please, Dick"
"Making Americans taste better" You are talking about the food, right? "Exactly"
I never really liked the monster of the week thing, the only best thing about this season so far is watching Dick act like a Dick. James Patrick Stuart plays the role quite well.
I felt this necessary.

I like how he always insists with extreme emphasis that "Please, call me DICK!".
News Caster: "Can anyone beat Dick?"
I heard that this season might end on a cliffhanger. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I just want the leviathans gone.

Most seasons ended on a cliffhanger though
Most seasons ended on a cliffhanger though
This is true. However, this seems to be a bit different than most seasons. This is a take down the big baddie finale akin to the season five finale. It's like they've been leading us up for this to be a kill the bad guy finale like the season five seal away lucifer finale. We don't know if they're going to kill Dick or if it's going to end on a cliffhanger. I'm personally hoping that they chop his head off.
Was just checking the footage and pictures from next episode.
Castiel makes the boys sandwiches. If I was a fangirl I'd be squealing over that.
LMFAO when the Alpha said "see you next season!".
It's [sp] dude.
Twenty minutes til the finale. I can't wait.
So, was it any good? I'll have to check it after work.
Thinking about starting to watch this. Is there a large story or is every episode its own story?

There is a large story, but there are also monster of the week episodes throughout the show.

This season finale is a bit of a disappointment compared to all the other amazing finales of past seasons.
[sp]I mean c'mon, sending Cas and Dean to purgatory is a bit lame. At least they stopped using humanoid monsters for that last scene.[/sp]
[editline]awd[/editline]
I am curious to how they will dig themselves out of this hole.
I thought the finale was excellent up until around three fourths in. [sp] The end doesn't make much sense to me either. So when you kill a leviathan it opens up a portal to purgatory? That just seems weird.[/sp]

[sp]No, as Crowley said, God weapons tend to have a pretty huge kick/drawback. In this case, people close to the leviathan get sent to where they go when they die. In this case, (due to leviathan) purgatory.[/sp]
