http://screencrave.com/2010-05-14/supernatural-season-6-might-be-awkward/
Wow, I just read that...
The intro should've played Long Long Way From Home, it fits so perfect to the ending.
[sp]The scene at the end with Sam standing outside of Dean's new home felt like an excuse to make the show go for another season. It would have been perfect if they cut that scene and just ended the show.[/sp] And am I the only one who was kind of [sp]cheering for Lucifer the entire time? I can't speak to his motives but he kind of got a shit deal in the past[/sp]
As was I sadly, I think Lucifer got the shit end of the stick, but ya'no. Billions of lives would of been over with and such. Sooo.
I love this show, but it can be pretty damn disturbing sometimes. It certainly doesn't pull any punches when it comes to gore.

Just finished watching the season 5 (series?) finale. Just...damn.
Great series, saw the last episode of season 5
Just finished watching the season 5 (series?) finale. Just...damn.
Just season, not series. I'd like to quote this from Wikipedia.
Creator Eric Kripke originally planned for the show to only last five seasons, but due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, there has been talk of the show returning for more. Eric Kripke has confirmed that he will not be returning as showrunner for Season Six; however, he will still remain as a hands-on executive producer, leaving Executive Producer Sera Gamble to take over the reins.
and
(Jared)Padalecki stated that if the show is no longer compelling after a possible sixth season, that he will not return for more. Sera Gamble, who will take over the showrunner position, had said that the sixth and possible final season of the show will focus on the brothers' relationship
I have some hope.
Does anyone else think that the main enemy of Season 6 will be Death and not the Devil? I mean, Death did say it was older and would eventually kill God :v:
[sp]Sam was released from the cage in hell, and Lucifer had to stay, because Lucifer made a deal with Sam at the beginning saying that if he got control and overpowered him, he would be allowed to live, and Lucifer would go into the cage.[/sp] That's my theory. Also... [sp]Bobby is going to die, because as Chuck/God was talking, he said something along the lines of "The next week, Bobby was out hunting a windigo, and Dean wasn't there to save him.[/sp] That's also just one of my other theories. I may have heard it wrong. OH ALSO [sp]The reason I think Chuck could be God is because if you saw, he was wearing all white when he vanished (I feel like that's some kind of holy color) and as someone above stated, he's the only one to have vanished ON screen, and not just being gone when the camera turns back to where they were.[/sp] [editline]10:02PM[/editline]
Does anyone else think that the main enemy of Season 6 will be Death and not the Devil? God kind of deal, with the brothers having to deal with the third antichrist, and a bunch of other stuff involving Death, now that he's free from Lucifer's control[/sp]
That part was the best
I laughed Ass-Butt
Best. One-liner. EVER.

I wish they showed this more often over in Australia. :colbert:
Just watched the finale. It was amazing.
I may have misheard it, considering he said [sp]They wouldn't see each other again for a very long time.[/sp]
It said this is the last time they would see each other.
It said this is the last time they would see each other.
No, it said it was the last time they were gonna see eachother for a long time.

The Devil or Death itself?[/sp]

They said Bobby goes to hunt a rugaru without Dean. Sam and Dean killed a rugaru in season 4. It's some thing that gets a hunger for human flesh when it hits a certain age and if it tastes human flesh then it becomes a monster

This past season, Dean and Sam faced their toughest foe yet: the Devil himself. As the Apocalypse raged on around them, the brothers, aided only by a dwindling band of fellow hunters and rebel angel Castiel, sought a way to stop Lucifer and save the planet. Ultimately, they discovered a way to force Lucifer back into Hell and end the Apocalypse – but at tremendous cost: Sam’s life. Season six will be a season of mystery and shadow. Heaven and Hell have been left in complete disarray since the apocalyptic events of season five. And now, monsters, angels and demons roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape. And so Dean Winchester, who has retired from hunting and sworn never to return, finds himself being pulled back into his old life – pulled back by none other than Sam Winchester, who has escaped from Hell. The two reunite to beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn, but they quickly realize that neither are who they used to be, their relationship isn’t what it used to be, and that nothing is what it seems. The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel. SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG (NIKITA, “Charlie’s Angels,” “The O.C.”), Eric Kripke (“Boogeyman”), Robert Singer (“Midnight Caller”), Sera Gamble, Ben Edlund and Phil Sgriccia.
