I rather they bring in another shitty season then get nothing at all. It's not like a shitty season would ruin the show, it'd be better than getting nothing. I'm excited either way, though, because I doubt they could do anything too bad.

He still has insight on what goes on, but not much control. Though the new director seems, meh-ish.
The new show runner has been on the show for all 5 seasons, I think she knows what she is doing. You should be happy we got 5 seasons anyways, the show-runner originally planned for 3, then expanded it to 5 http://www.tvguide.com/news/eric-kripke-fields-35627.aspx
bumpididump here is info on supernatural season 6
I'm still reeling from Supernatural's awesome series fifth-season finale "Swan Song," with its open-ended questions, disappearing prophets, and domesticated Dean, but it's never too early to get ready for next season. Okay, I guess this is a bit early since it's only May. But The CW has business to conduct, and as such, released a general synopsis of what to expect from the Eric Kripke-less (he'll have some creative input but won't oversee day-to-day operations) Season 6. Here's the overview, straight from the network (contains spoilers, but nothing that bad): "Returning for its sixth season, this haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to their dangerous, other-worldly mission. This past season, Dean and Sam faced their toughest foe yet: the Devil himself. As the Apocalypse raged on around them, the brothers, aided only by a dwindling band of fellow hunters and rebel angel Castiel, sought a way to stop Lucifer and save the planet. Ultimately, they discovered a way to force Lucifer back into Hell and end the Apocalypse—but at tremendous cost: Sam’s life. Season 6 will be a season of mystery and shadow. Heaven and Hell have been left in complete disarray since the apocalyptic events of Season 5. And now, monsters, angels, and demons roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape. And so Dean Winchester, who has retired from hunting and sworn never to return, finds himself being pulled back into his old life—pulled back by none other than Sam Winchester, who has escaped from Hell. The two reunite to beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn, but they quickly realize that neither are who they used to be, their relationship isn’t what it used to be, and that nothing is what it seems." Well of course Sam was going to get out of Hell. Sounds like a return to business as usual for the Winchester brothers, and a flip-flop of the pilot where Dean pulled Sam into hunting. Will Mark Pellegrino be back as Lucifer? Will we see another season of Sam and Dean bickering and arguing with each other? Will Castiel be able to get Heaven in order? Season 6 will belong to longtime executive producer and lover of gore Sera Gamble, so will it be bloodier than most? In other news, Gamble came out of hiding and spoke to sci-fi blog io9 about the Season 5 finale. Gamble said, "We knew we were returning for another season well before Eric [Kripke] sat down to write the finale. So, the episode you saw was the story he worked on from the beginning." And of the "Is Chuck God?" question, she said, "I love a good God debate, so it's nice to hear we got one going this season. We purposely left a bit of room for interpretation." And we're still debating. Look for Supernatural to return sometime in September. And oh yeah, it's been moved to Fridays (yuck).
FUCK YES MY PREDICTION FOR SEPTEMBER RELEASE IS RIGHT!!! source:http://www.tv.com/info-on-supernatural-season-6-bursts-forth-from-hell/story/23003.html rate informatives if you didnt know this :fuckyou:
Aw, fridays? :frown: Oh well, september. Awesome!
Awesome, sooner than I expected. Four months away!
This show owns, and I'm actually getting a 67 Impala after I finish my tours.
I would get a 67 Impala even if I never watched the show. Its a nice car.
Glad to see its returning soon.
My thursdays are empty without Supernatural
My thursdays are empty without Supernatural
I agree. With Supernatural, Smallville and House gone, My Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays are boring.
Guys what do you think sam would be? there are 2 possibilities: 1: He is a spirit which soul has escaped from hell (like when the devil gate is opened sam and deans dad grabs azazel ) 2: He is a DEMON!.... BUT! i dont think that is possible becouse Sam's body fell in the cage with lucifer and Michael so Sam's original packaging is gone/unavaiable
One thing I fucking hate about this series is the shippers. They give all fans of the show a bad name. [editline]08:43PM[/editline] And the creators of the show have made it apparent that they, too, hate these idiots.

The new season starts tonight. Who's going to be watching it?
I will, I'm going to turn people down if they want to hang out
Great episode so far.
thanks to supernatural, I can't hang out friday nights anymore
Saw it. I dunno dude. For a season opener it seemed really...like it was just another episode. I mean, we get both Sam and the grandfather back, but... It didn't feel like they put enough emphasis on Sam's return. Yeah, we get plenty of anger from Dean over the fact that he's been left in the dark, but this was nothing like when Dean came back from hell. Also, we don't really get a sense of what this season is going to be about from the first episode. We know that something weird is happening, but we have no idea what the scope of it is, or even if it's really that dangerous. I mean, we know it's supposed to be, but it didn't feel like there was enough emphasis. Ending felt a bit flat. Just, okay, I'll catch up with you later, bye. The only cliffhanger is, hey, where did the the Grandfather and the other hunters go? That can be solved with a phone call. Another thing. This season starts off a year after last season. Up until this point the show has always basically stayed in the same year the episode is showing in...everything is now set a year in the future from now, which to me feels a little weird...now any culture jokes made will be one year off. After all that, though...I do have faith that it can be better...but this season opener feels a little shaky...we'll just have to wait and see what's next.
I agree about the Sam returning scene not being very dramatic. I was expecting a lot more than just a hug.
Yup, it wasn't like when Dean came back and everyone was like "What the fuck? How is this possible?"
I expected Sam to get holywater'd and attacked and stuff at first
Well that was a weak season opener. Bring Sam back like it doesn't matter, introduce characters but give them no personality or even lines, and recycle old monsters. The whole season better not be like this.
imo the episode started off great up until Sam arrived. Also Bob Seger Beautiful Loser
Pretty shit season opener, But I somehow think that's the point. Sam seemed to "weird", I thought the whole episode was a Halucination.
They should have included atleast a snippit of one of the angels or something interfering to give us a clue as to what the fuck is going on.
Well that was a weak season opener. Bring Sam back like it doesn't matter, introduce characters but give them no personality or even lines, and recycle old monsters. So this is where it all goes downhill into a 'lets make a show for lots of money and ignore what made it great' state. edit Just pretend that the last moment thing at the end of five where you see sam out again didn't happen.
Just saw the second episode of season 6. They really killed this series, just pulled the plug on it. In the end when he took out his car, and it wall all cool and stuff, where they probably wanted the audience to go all "cool, wow, awesome" I (and probably everyone else with a sane mind) went all :colbert: The only way to save this series is if Sam and the other guys aren't "Real". With them coming back it's just pure shit.
I disagree. I think the season is going along nicely and have enjoyed both episodes.
