I preferred old style supernatural where there was less overall story and more of a monster hunting ministories.

i love this show (since the beginning) and i almost always DVR the new eps when i'm busy Fridays
It seems like this Season will be about the origins of monsters and some evil plan they're all conspiring to do.
So far Season 6 has been very lackluster, the best part so far has been the ending of episode 2, its got potential but i hardly doubt its going to top the season 5 finale yet.
This season has potential. I think it's been...interesting so far. It will get better though, and since Castiel is back today, I'm sure the episodes will be better :v:
I think they didn't give too much meaning to the returnings, but to be honest, I love the show so much that I'm just happy that the new season has arrived.

Nope. The episode tonight showed this Season is going to be pretty heavily reliant on the angels :v:
And the relationship between the brothers, of course. Angels, and the brothers, and the monsters. That's this season.

i haven't watched any of the episodes from season 6 because i really don't want to watch it in case it rapes the show i.e. smallville.

Huh this is actually a fair point, if Lucifer was a powerful arch-angel who become the Devil, is it not possible for other angels to do the same, I wanted to know how Lucifer actually created the demons and stuff anyway.
I'm still wondering who the hell would've and could've pulled Sam and his grandad out of the pit, Castiel pulled Dean out and is it seemed from what he said it required major effort to do so, and it left a clear mark, there's no mark so clearly no angel, what the flying christ could do that??
Also Sam is acting really strangely I mean beyond then normal stupid evil things he does, I'm wondering what the hell happened to him in hell (no pun intended) I mean didn't he get thrown in with Lucifer himself, if so wouldn't that make him be tortured in the worst possible way imaginable by Lucifer and wouldn't he share hell with him?
Also loving the ideas of the Alpha's of each mythical creature, wondering how you take those assholes down or even how the crap they came to be the first of their kind.

First seasons was the shit, but when they started all that angel crap I kinda lost interest, also the show stopped being screened on a normal channel and switched over to a channel called FEM, guess what demographic that channel is aimed at.

its syndicated TV series that's why they play it on other stations/networks
they play the first seasons or so on TNT
** which then i used to catch up to the story
i love the episode names they have.
next episode is called "live free or twi-hard"
