Highlights - General - Facepunch Forum

Woah, I really like the column on the forum view but I think that little button shouldn't be sticking there on the side, maybe here or there? [img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3797350/files/highlights.png[/img] the red-circled one is absolutely useless anyway also, just a thought: perhaps the highlighting system could be based on the ratings on a post? it'd actually make them useful for something :U

Eh, this could also be good for highlighting certain Facepunch activities, like the FPUK TF2 servers in Games in Progress(this is also a nomination for said OP in thread)

If you look back in the mod forum when we were talking about implementing Respected User I'm sure it came up then. RU was supposed to be s direct result of having your thread featured on the front page. What next? An award system that allows moderators to give people merits based on good threads, posts and much more?? And they'll be displayable underneath people's avatars??

I love the Highlights idea but can we have it minimized by default?

when the list of posts is bigger, would it be possible to replace that highlight that has been read with a new one that wasn't already on the list?

A neat feature indeed. So will only threads be manually added or will there be some sort of system where you can rate threads and the most popular ones show up?

If you're trying to urge people to make better posts then I reccomend bringing back the smartness system
