I've seen a lot of clips from the game, and everything is pretty stupid. Haven't heard that much about the gameplay itself, but they royally botched the writing. I'm glad I didn't waste money on the game. Shit writing, dumbed down gameplay, Bioware/EA money grubbing, terrible ending. No thanks.
That's entirely not true. The only bad part of the game is the Ending. Almost everyone in the ME3 thread agrees with this. You haven't even played the game. You can't judge its quality without playing through it whole. The gameplay is better than the last two games, if you mean combat. Writing is excellent besides the end. Only money grubbing was the day 1 dlc which nobody cares about anymore. There are two free ones coming out.

I didn't mean the video. He was talking about the whole game in general.
Why complain about the mars storm, it was cool to look at.
I didn't mean the video. He was talking about the whole game in general.
Yes, and the videos in OP point out flaws in the game, so it's not "writing is excellent besides the end".
I agree that the writing is a little sub par, but I still enjoyed Mass Effect 3 as much as I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 and 2. (Minus the ending, of course)

The opinion of the people in ANY game's thread is ALWAYS biased towards the game, without fail.
You do realize that the ME3 thread is almost entirely biodrones, right?
hahahaha
hahahaha
Worst post of all time.
If you went to the ME thread you would find plenty of criticism of the game.
I read a few posts in one of the recent news threads about ME3's new dlc that were "ME3 is an absolutely perfect game without the ending", each with 5-10 agrees. each one made me smile please don't be that blind.
If you went to the ME thread you would find plenty of criticism of the game.
Marred by a ton of blatant fanboyism. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying there aren't any critics at all in the ME thread, hence the "almost." I'm just saying that Rapist citing the people in the ME3 thread as a perfect reason that the game is good all the way through is a terrible reason and makes his argument entirely invalid.
Part 3: Talking about how a poor gameplay mechanic, used to cover up the fact that there is no content, can hurt, or mean nothing to, story: this should be the last one about mass effect 3.
I agree with all these points, but I had a shitton of fun with Mass Effect 3. That's right, I enjoyed the game, fuck the police. These videos are funny and informative though, keep them up.
Nobody's saying that you're stupid for having fun with it, it's the people who say the ending is the ONLY problem with the game, or worse, the people who say the ending isn't a problem. For people like you, maybe you are capable of ignoring those problems so you can still have fun, for people like me, the game isn't worth the problems.

That's right, I enjoyed the game, fuck the police.

Nothing wrong with that.
Your way to monochrome in the way you talk, you should also get rid of the pointless angst.
I TALK VERY MONOCHROME
Awesome videos OP, keep them up. That said, some of those issues are not only present in the third game, the entire series has incredibly poorly written parts, unfortunately, those only became more apparent in Mass Effect 3 due to Drew Karpshyn leaving the writing team. Still, I think it's a good game, could've been better, but hey.
You do realize that the ME3 thread is almost entirely biodrones, right?
Please think before you post. If you actually went there you'd realize that there's 30+ page long discussions about the poor writing and the abysmal ending and people are constantly criticizing Bioware's questionable PR regarding the whole thing. Just because you think people will always be biased towards the game doesn't make it so.
this is pathetic and sad
this is pathetic and sad
Uh, care to elaborate?
Unless you cover the [sp]stupid god damn space ninja[/sp] it's /v/ grade nitpicking cos you've already covered every other aspect of the game :v:
Unless you cover the [sp]stupid god damn space ninja[/sp] it's /v/ grade nitpicking cos you've already covered every other aspect of the game :v:
How? The sidequests were fucking pathetic, the story made no god damn sense at all, and they referenced things and completely forgot about them, that's nitpicking?
this is pathetic and sad
Your pathetic and sad. Now go away.
How? I really wish you had a Youtube Partnership, hour long versions of these like Mr. Plinketts would be amazing.
I love reviews like these, however I won't agree, but either way I commend you for the hard work and good points you may bring up. I loved ME3 and well, that's that. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Though I do find that you're trying very hard to be like Plinkett, which...will get old.
I really wish you had a Youtube Partnership, hour long versions of these like Mr. Plinketts would be amazing.
i would get so sick of hearing my own voice [editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Though I do find that you're trying very hard to be like Plinkett, which...will get old.
i'm not. SOME of the review is character, but most of the time that is the way i am and the way i sound when talking about something as terrible as mass effect 3; sarcastic and depressed. i also exaggerate my "i'm confused" voice when writing is really confusing. and if you are like me and understand good video game writing and good gameplay mechanics, and like to have fun while playing the video games, mass effect 3 (as was dragon age 2 i might add) is extremely depressing to look at on such a grand scale of the series and bioware and ea, etc. tl;dr the voice is natural and i'm really not trying hard to sound like plinkett. but because you loved me3 i don't think you really would care, because of the nature of my review (because i called me3 "fucking garbage", specifically) and i'm sure you were a little insulted.
I don't even see the similarities to Plinkett TBH. Then I don't watch much of Plinkett's stuff, so I can't really say much.
