No, they'll die eventually anyway
So will everyone, therefore by your logic you can never save someones life.
No, they'll die eventually anyway [editline]11:53PM[/editline] Oh and don't overreact, you don't think one man can execute multi-million abortions in his life, do you? Geez. <3
But one baby is equal to one million adult lives, cos they're all pure an' good! God said so!
I nearly drowned when I was about 8 or so, I felt like I was going to die it was just the most terrible feeling you could ever have, I remember it getting all dark and my chest was on fire and saw my friend's dad jump in and grab me before I fainted or something. I kinda remember waking up from the poolside and all the other kids looking and me and I kept coughing up water and was shaking from the experience. After that, I just wanted to go home (it was a party). I thought I was gonna float or something like all the other kids were that were in the deep end. This is why I now am afraid of boats/cruises and even planes (I think they'll crash or something). I was just so thankful for my friend's dad for saving me. /story
I have. Saw one of my friends drowning in a pool (It was a long time ago.), so I reacted quickly and dived into the pool. Saw him and he grabbed onto my back. He was scratching my back and shit, but he made it out. After we got him out, he choked on water and coughed it out. His parents thanked me and so did he. So... did some of you save anyone's life?
Same, years ago (about 5-6) my school brought us out to a public pool, he was drowning in the deep side, and couldn't get to the ladder because the jet was too powerful, I heard him faintly yelling out "help" as he began to go under, and I ran and dove into the water, I heard the life guards yelling at me to stop running and whistling. At this time I was thinking like, fuck you, why am I doing your job for you? I grabbed him and dragged him out of the pool. :S
Yeah, my grandma's. She fell and broke her hip and ribs and had some internal bleeding and I called 911. She died a month later from cancer
i weleased woger from the womans (romans)
My sister when she was little swam to the deep end of the pool and started drowning. . . even though the edge was right next to her so I saved her.
When my brother spotted our mum across the road he just ran without thinking and I managed to react quick enough to save him from bieng hit by a car, he may or may not have died but he surely would have been badly damaged. The kinda funny thing was that it was a three-wheeled car so it made me laugh.
I pushed my friend out of the way of a car, but he got hit by another (thankfully slower-moving) car in the next lane of traffic.
I have convinced 2 separate not to kill themselves.
I sent money to dying niggers in Haitai. Does that count?
Yes, and in the process I broke my arm and leg. A 150KG pole instead fell slowly on his neck, instead of falling straight on his neck, and killing him.

I have! Mostly people who are suicidal. A lot of people who know me look up to me as a wise big brother. And when they are trying to commit suicide (I genuinely know they are), I always manage to talk them out of it. They thank me and what not, and the amount of karma I get out of it a huge.
I saved one of my cousins when she fell into a poll and one time another cousin was swimming in some river in New Hampshire when a current was pulling him under a boulder. I reached out my hand and pulled him out. I was terrified.
One time on the bus, I noticed a wet seat in front of me. Nobody sat in it. This cute teenage girl walks in and is about to sit on the wet seat. I quickly alert her, "Wait, don't sit down, the seat is wet." She goes, "Oh thank you very much," "No problem," I said back. I had a feeling of accomplishment and importance throughout the whole ride.
I'm not sure if this counts but my friend was really depressed and was on the verge of suicide so I talked her out of it.
I am quite certain that one time I have during my vacation to Turkey. A child was drowning in the middle of the pool while his parents were occupied with something else. I swam over and quickly asked whether he needed assistance. The child then grabbed me around the neck in a frantic motion, i took him to the edge of the pool. I am quite certain that the situation would have became critical if i did not help him.
Saved a friend from going on a gay porn site that he was told was a game site, I feel so proud
I havent done so purposely, but maybe by way of my actions...? meaning if i wasnt there something may have happened differently
A friend got so drunk they passed out. We rolled him over onto his side and he was sick later. Probably would have choked if we left him on his back.
Of course I have. I've gotten the Rescuer bonus in mw2 countless of times.
My friend and I were crossing the road, and he was going along behind me. Just then, some maniac pulled out around a corner and tore down the road - I managed to save my friend from being hit by grabbing his arm and pulling him past. In the process, he lost his shoe and it got flattened. He's still got the flat shoe.
I think I did save someone once, but I can't remember when. I mean it.
I stopped my friend (now girlfriend) from committing suicide last year and stopped an epileptic from biting off their tongue when I was in year 1 by putting a big block in their mouth.
I saved a girl from getting murdered. She already got raped though ):
I dialed 999 when my friend got hit by a car. I was crying more than she was, my life is boring so i was completely unused to seeing stuff like that.
I stopped my friend (now girlfriend) from committing suicide last year and stopped an epileptic from biting off their tongue when I was in year 1 by putting a big block in their mouth.
I totally misread that.
