Does anyone else gag from the taste of weed, especially after a really harsh pipe/bong hit? I've been smoking pretty regularly for a fair bit now and it forces me to micro-manage the size of hits I take. I've done quite a bit of online research but the responses usually apply to new smokers who take way too much. (Don't know if this has been brought up before, just found out this thread existed after the old section got closed)

It's a life changing experience, in my opinion. Taking it occasionally is not really dangerous at all. Research it on erowid if you want to know more. :)

I've had this problem with a piece that hasn't been cleaned in ages. If my piece is clean then I love the taste of weed.

yeah when my bowl/bong/whatever hasn't been cleaned in forever smoking is like inhaling dog food, but when cleaned it is nice.

Yeah, I thought the first few times it happened it was because of dirty pieces but I still had the same reaction (if not worse) with a new pipe. It does not seem to happen from vapes or GBs, however.
Anyone know which Kratom tastes the least bad? When I have it, I tend to need about two tablespoons and it tastes fucking awful.

I tried a sample pack from kratomsupply.net of various kinds and they all tasted terrible. Parachuting or capsuling was best way to avoid really. I did try putting it in a cheapo espresso machine as well and that kind of worked mixed with coffee prepared beforehand. I still ate the powder after but it had lost much of it's flavour.
Did you order from there? They shut down after that PSAct thing but seem to be back now operating in the EU but posting to UK.

It could be a particular strain. Have you been smoking different strains or just the same one?

I ordered from uk-kratom. They're based in the Netherlands.
The PSA is really dumb legislation, because it covers anything that is psychoactive, but I can still legally purchase melatonin. What's up with that?

I suppose it's worse with majority indica strains, but sativa isn't much better taste-wise.

I think it depends on the quality of the leaf as much as it does the strain, but ime green ketapang tasted the least terrible.
Just make tea out of it with a shitload of honey and some lemon and throw in some kind of fruit tea to mask the flavor. It tastes pretty good if you do it right.

I've been wanting to try it for a while. LSD is amazing and ive done enough research to know that DMT completely blows LSD out of the water when it comes to a deep and intimate psychedelic experience. The only bad experiences i have from psychedelics are minor at best and mostly involves shitty friends and nothing to do with set/setting. One time i had the idea of taking a hit of my weed concentrate vape mid peak of my second trip and started to worry about being stuck in slow motion forever. I was just thoughtlooping tho and resolved it quickly with some good old fashioned willpower
i'd love to give dmt a go, the acid just kinda made me stoned. i took it on pretty much an empty stomach and we just chilled for a few hours before going for a walk around the block. it was really fucking cold but it felt super warm. i was hoping for a new experience but it just felt like i smoked a bunch of weed.

Roommate and I are going to try shrooms when we get a free weekend, dunno if we should also smoke during it or if that would be overkill.
DMT will overwhelm you the first time you smoke it, even if you don't break through. i still haven't broken through yet and it has provided some of the most intense psychedelic experiences i have had bar high levels of MXE. also has provided some of the most terrifying moments in my life due to an experience turning sour, was being chased through sterile yet everchanging hallways by doctors with bonesaws singing "You are going to die". yet, i've had extremely positive experiences on it, feeling an intense joy while watching geometric shapes form and morph in front of my eyes and move around my breathing room.
i can't imagine what breaking through must feel like.
Didn't know what I expected for my first DMT trip but what I got was an entity that took the form of various characters from the Simpsons dancing on a psychedelic checkerboard dancefloor

would not recommend unless you find yourself somewhere around 4 hours in and nothing interesting is happening at all. even then, proceed with caution. a typical shrooms dose alone should be enough to knock your socks off.
