Anything guitar focused it seems isn't popular at all anymore. I think rock truly is dead in the mainstream because of hip-hop and EDM, sort of like how jazz "died."
I love me some jazz. But I don't recommend it when smoking if it's not a calm song, because it made me very anxious.
Jazz is good shit too. I can't ever play it around any of my friends because most of the time they'll call it elevator music.
People are so closed-minded when it comes to music. Nobody ever wants to admit having tastes that don't line up with the norm, and if they do, it's always in a genre that's popular. Are you genuinely interested in anything other than Top 40 music, rap, or EDM? Doesn't matter if it's classical music, math rock, jazz, or even metal, have fun having pretty much nobody to talk to about it, because nobody branches out and gives anything a try, except for what society conditions them to. [sp]May be exaggerating a bit here, but it's mostly true.[/sp]

most of the people I know are exactly the same. I've gotten comments from people who don't understand how I'm able to find so much music that isn't popular and idk, I just don't listen to whats popular most of the time and instead put some time into finding music that I personally find cool. there's some gems here and there in whats popular of course but I find most of it to be very similar.
wish people in general would branch out more when it comes to music. its a little boring when people you're with want to play music and its something really generic that you've already heard a thousand times before, just a little different.

anyway, any of you struggle with GAD? weed hasn't usually helped me that much with anxiety but this last strain I got (lemon haze?) has been surprisingly calming compared to other strains. I'm still worrying about whatever but it's a lot more bearable and toned down? it seems to also lessen my DP/DR to an extent, though not fully. don't suppose you guys know of any other strains that could help against anxiety?
its the golden age of music right now. rock and jazz are still popular, it's just easier for people to make electronic/hiphop in their bedrooms. they dont have to learn an instrument.

there is nothing really wrong with that though imo. there are plenty of skilled producers who can make a nice complete track without knowing how to play an instrument. playing an instrument shouldnt be required, but it is recommended. i make beats myself, but the whole reason i could in the first place is because i can play some mean guitar and bass.

Most of the weed on the street in the UK is just fucking skunk and that shit is not good. High THC compared to hardly any CBD so it fucks with peoples mental health issues so much including mine. I wish they would legalise it in the UK so we could have a regulated market for it and not this fucking shit that people are smoking now including legal highs aswell
Why is nobody into acoustic music anymore? Like bluegrass and folk rock and shit. It feels like nobody I know is into anything but pop and EDM, which is cool, I don't look down on it or anything, but it sucks when there's literally nobody around me who likes the music I do.
i love bluegrass lol

This is now my favorite stoner track, makes me want to build a big fucking cobblestone bridge
Sorta drunk waiting for the edibles to take effect. It has been a rough day.

I don't deny this, in fact I think it's awesome. I just wish less people dismissed music because it's old. Not that there's any shortage of "le wrong generation" people who dismiss music just because it's new.
[editline]12th June 2017[/editline]
if you feel like smokin' weed, if you got the notion
i second that emotion
got my dab pen next to me and now it is time to alter my perception
I had a hit of DMT today, only a small hit that gave me a body high and some light visuals

Yeah, people are dumb if they are willing to ignore a long history of recorded music.
Going to Amsterdam with friends tomorrow, I'm hyped af. Anyone know good places for food near the city centre?

also are you going to take truffles, or just weed
smoking feels good after a whole day of work holy shit i need to get a real job
guys i have bee tasked with walking a desert full of weird people, while wearing a plastic beak and wearing a snake sock on my arm
First day at my internship tomorrow, it's pretty low stress but I am still unsure if smoking at all is a good idea lol
a tru renegade
why do people say this at all about any drug lol
because the effects of weed are less severe and more controllable than other drugs
because the effects of weed are less severe and more controllable than other drugs
as weed isn't a deliriant
as weed isn't a deliriant
its such an entirely different drug depending on dosage which always fascinated me (and dph)
What's more satisfying than buying a pint of vodka?
Putting pennies and nickles in a Coinstar to buy a pint of vodka.
Vladimir never tasted so cheap.
Got super duper lucky last night.
Went a couple towns over to check out some trains (why didn't we just check out the trains in our town? idk) and ended up smoking some weed with like 6 or 7 people there. It seemed like a chill, quiet place but eventually a cop rolled up when we were getting ready to leave.
My brother alerted everybody that a cop was coming and everyone freaked out and ran to their cars (still out of sight of the cop) but me and my brother decided to calmly talk to the officer.
The cop jumps out of his SUV and says "I know you"! Turns out it was a buddy I used to play pool with at college a few years back. He asked us nicely to leave because it was private property and we obviously bounced. We had a few grams of bud and some glass pipes and he didn't even hassle us for names or nothing.
Moral of the story: make friends wherever you go, it might work in your favor at some point.

Wow dude that is struggling. Reminds me of a time I used 3 different debit cards just to get a case of beer.

[editline]14th June 2017[/editline]

also lately i've been associating people's faces with other people's faces a lot more, when i used to only say someone looked like someone when they really resembled them a lot. weird...
i was playing csgo last night with some funny guys. in one game on overpass we won the round and someone said "hes heaven" after the round was over then he said "get it because hes dead" and i thought it was the funniest thing i've ever heard and everyone was having a giggle about it but i was fucking dying.
then i got into a game with a premade group of 4 who tricked me into dropping a decoy as part of a strat, then they shot each other down to 1% with duelies and killed themselves on the decoy so i got kicked and banned for 2 hours. i was so confused the whole time.

I get that quite bad when I'm rolling, makes it a real pain to find your 'real' friends when you keep recognising them in other people.
Download festival was good, had a great fucking time with my squad. Had a lot of weed, rum, and had some sweet experiences on 2CB and MDMA, made a lot of new friends when I split up from the group to see some different bands. It was fun because people kept coming up to me for the rest of the festival to say hi, even if I didn't remember all of them...
I've realised that the most important thing to help a comedown is more sleep. I had horrific depression on Monday, slept 13 hours in a proper bed once we got home, felt fine afterwards.
I might lose my job because I smoke weed in my free time.. :v:
Oh well, as great as the pay is this place is sucking the life out of me. I really need to get my shit together, I just don't know what to do anymore.. Getting laid off is a mixed bag and that's only one thing I've got going on right now.
I don't mean to be a bummer or anything, it's just nice to vent on a place where I can talk to people and not have to explain too much, you know?

I know that feeling. Out of everything I've ever done, alcohol and tobacco are by far my biggest regrets and I'm still too weak to go a single day without them. My life would be a blur if I didn't have to drive to work 5 days a week.
Guy at the concert last night had a blunt, but no lighter. I had a lighter, but no blunt. Truly, a match made in heaven

Life is a little more honest with 2 drinks, but my liver is a bad liar after I had too many.
I don't know where you work, but I assure you your job isn't over due to some weed. A job I got last year sent me to a
lab to get tested (this being 2 1/2 weeks after spending my 21st birthday getting lit as fuck in Seattle), and I still managed
to pass the test.
Either detox, find a friend who doesn't toke, or buy synthetic piss. I believe I posted my detox recipe on here last
year, and that scored me a job as a Pharmacy Technician. Best of luck mate!
