The Matrix, the first one. I've watched it before many times, but I can never keep interested, and usually shut it off before completing. I do have to say, the next after it were absolutely terrible, but I could see why the Matrix could be interesting, I just can't watch it!

I'm sorry but The Godfather: Part 1 just bored me to death. I haven't seen Part 2.
I liked the first Harry Potter a lot, but I felt like the sequels have all been the exact same movie over and over. and later on they try to go for this big epic feel and it just doesn't work for me. Harry Potter, to me has always been semi-light-hearted children's tale of magic and wonderment... not epic battles of good and evil.
300 was good but I never understood why everyone had such a boner over it. It looked great and there was action but I didn't see much there past that.

Nobody seriously liked them, nobody.
Yeah, almost everyone I know hated the prequels or at least liked the older movies better.
Also, I haven't seen the movie for a really, really, long time but The Lion King bored the shit out of me when I was little.
Episode 3 was the only prequel that I genuinely enjoyed from start to finish.
Maybe because the shitty love story was mostly put on the backburner.

I know it's been mentioned already but The Hangover. My main thought watching it was 'Wow, people waking up with no memory of the drunken night before and trying to piece together what happened and find something important that they lost; that sure doesn't sound like Dude Where's My Car? at all.'

Matrix didn't retain my interest either, but the "lack" of flash isn't what did it.

episode 3 was the one i hated the most
purely for the fact that the script and dialogue somehow managed to be worse than episode 1 and 2 put together
