Apocalypto
The Avengers. I didn't hate it, I just feel it was HORRIBLY overrated. The movie just seemed like it was just "HEY CHECK OUT ALL THESE COOL PEOPLE WE GOT TOGETHER, NOW HERE'S SOME ACTION SCENES" with very little substance otherwise.
The Star Wars saga. I liked it, sure, but I'm not a big fan (ignoring the fact that I own quite literally 100 Star Wars action figures, not including the AT-AT).
The title of the thread says "movies you didn't like".
Other people have said they felt a movie "didn't live up to the hype", but they didn't hate it.

The Lorax
What does that have to do with it, you pretty clearly stated that you liked the movies.
You can merely like a movie that everyone else in the world loves.
It's a slow movie. You're just easily irritated.
I didn't like 2001 either, but I think that's because I massively prefer the book.
Napoleon Dynamite. Man, fuck that movie.
Clockwork Orange. Just didn't appeal to me in the slightest.
Seeing as so many people loved it I was expected it to be great by the end I mildly enjoyed it but wouldn't say it was a good movie, yet so many people say it's the fucking greatest, even after reading positive reviews of it and rewatching it I still don't enjoy it Same thing with Inglourious Basterds, I walked it expecting it to be great because of what I heard form most people but for me it was a big appointment.
Avengers, didin't like it a bit. Maybe it's because it's just another kids' movie, it had lame jokes, ridiculous action scenes (hey look, I'm a woman with a goddamn pistol against dozens of aliens from another universe and not to mention hawkeye...) Also, Fast Five. Just another Hollywood lame-o. Don't judge me, but I just only like movies with GOOD plots.

Might have been mentioned, but I was recently reminded: Batman Begins
Tron: Legacy but it has to do more with the fact that I hated that nobody realized there was another Tron that was better in my opinion. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] And every Harry Potter other than the first one, with the amount of "not liking" going up with each movie up til the last And any movie involving well known comedy actors like Will Ferrell nowadays
The Amazing Spider-Man. I do not understand anyone who says that it got Spider-Man's character better than the originals, or that it's anywhere near as good as the first three in any way. Yes, even Spider-Man 3. The new movie was just kind of okay, I guess. At times. I feel like I watched an entirely different movie from everyone else. How do people love it so much? I am entirely baffled.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the whole world who didn't enjoy Blade Runner.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the whole world who didn't enjoy Blade Runner.
Final Cut or Theatrical. I hated the theatrical cut because of the terrible narration.
I didn't like 2001 either, but I think that's because I massively prefer the book.
I hated 2001 because it was very pretentious at the end. The rest of the film was pretty neat I guess, but that ending ruined it.
21 jump street dark knight rises (wasn't bad but the dark knight was so much better imo)
tron legacy was a humongous piece of shit decked out in good visuals
don't forget the soundtrack.
tron legacy was a humongous piece of shit decked out in good visuals
Well, to me, the soundtrack and the visuals made it worth the one watch in the cinema. Especially the soudtrack.
I didn't like 2001 either, but I think that's because I massively prefer the book.
there's nothing wrong with not liking it, there's always a viable reason to give. But when people moan at a ship flying past the screen as being "desperately artistic" then it's plain foolish. Despicable Me, the whole thing was overall predictable and cliched. Frankly, from the trailers you know how it ends, and the whole "adorable kid screaming catchphrase" ("IT'S SO FLUFFY") just seems over-killed nowadays

The yellow worker guys were the worst as well. They added almost nothing to the movie, and the only reason they were included was because it brought in more views.
heat the kids are all right (you guys agree it's shit already) taxi driver
lol, you guys are way over-examining a movie that was basically made for kids. why would they tailor a movie like despicable me to fit the expectations of adult movie critics when that's not their target audience? i haven't heard a single child/young teenager that saw the movie that didn't like it.

They didn't watch it because their younger siblings wanted to see it, they willingly went to see it themselves and thought it was MOTY.
