the grey wasn't great. really felt run of the mill, it had potential.. sort of.

citizen kane i don't get why people love this movie so much. the ending had a twist, so what? sure, it might've been original back in the 40s, but to call it the best movie ever with regards to modern film is just blindly retarded.

Repo Men: it was terrible compared to Repo! The Genetic Opera Blade Runner: It was an "ok" film but not the amazing film everyone finds it.

I honestly don't understand how people can't enjoy Heat. Easily one of the best heist movies ever made.

Eraserhead. I don't even fucking know what it is that I watched. I honestly just hate David Lynch films in general, I think that Twin Peaks is the only thing by him that I genuinely enjoyed.

The Dark Knight Rises, I don't know…I tried so hard to like this movie. I loved The Dark Knight. I just. I just can't. It's too drawn out, where as The Dark Knight felt really well paced.

Eraserhead was just him delving into his own crazy mind.. but I did like it. Blue Velvet I didn't think much of.

Ah, I actually haven't seen Mulholland Drive yet. Been meaning to though. And yeah Blue Velvet was pretty average and unremarkable.

A Christmas Story. I have this tendency to empathize with"loser" characters whose misfortune is supposed to be comedic, like the main character, Charlie Brown, Malcolm from "Malcolm in the middle" etc. so I hate seeing every thing go wrong for them. And of course every thing goes wrong for the lead on this movie. I know its supposed to be realistic or something but it still really annoys me. Even so I still acknowledge its a classic (to everyone else) and it still pains me that they're making an Uber-crappy completely unnecessary direct to DVD sequel to it.

The Grey and Incredible Close and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close I don't know why Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close got a oscar for Best Picture. That fucking kid is so annoying as hell

It was nominated for Best Picture. Not that Academy Awards mean anything though, if anything movies that get nominated for Academy Awards should be avoided since they're gutless, lightweight, pandering bullshit 99.9% of the time.

They don't nominate the best movies of the year, they nominate the Oscar Baits that they can jerk off to and feel pretentious. The winner usually is a fantastic movie though.

Inception. Jesus christ is that over rated.

I also thought it didn't explore the premise enough, it was too focused on the heist aspect.

Pretty insane what performances can do to lift a film.

Most recently, TED, for a comedy film it just wasn't that funny, yet has good reviews all-around, I was looking forward to it too but it left me disappointed.
