Movies you didn't like, that everyone else loved. - General

I can list off two at the top of my head. Sucker Punch: Oh god I hated this movie. But yet everyone else seems to like it because it has every single nerd fetish rolled up into one movie, and this coming from someone who is a nerd. And this next movie might be surprising for a lot, but this is the one movie that I dislike the most, that everyone seems to like the most. It makes me feel like the movie has a huge fucking ego, and feels like it needs to show how great it is all the god damn time. There. I said it. you can't let what other people think influence your opinion of a movie

I disagree that it's the best film ever but that doesn't mean it's terrible.

I liked Citizen Kane more than I thought I would, but it is certainly overrated when it is called 'the best film ever'. It should definitely be recognized for its innovation though.

The water scenes were pretty cool.

Twilight, the fucking Hangover, and Fast Five. For one, the average 13 year old thinks he's badass when he talks about Fast Five, and gets boners from seeing action scenes. There wasn't enough racing in the movie, and too much action. In my opinion, they tried too hard and overdid it.

Inception Everyone claims it to be deep and thought provoking, but all I saw was an overrated action movie with above average direction (like most nolan movies). It also deserves to be nowhere near the top of IMDB's top 250 list, let alone number 8
