I challenge you to find a bigger audio file than what I have just stumbled upon.
24/96 rip of itaots - oh comely = 170mb

on second thought don't try a 192khz rip of anything because that's an extreme waste of data
on second thought don't try a 192khz rip of anything because that's an extreme waste of data
it's the definition of overkill sampling rate..
And you call yourselves music nerds I bet you don't even have an external dac
I bet you don't even have an external dac
They do make mp3s sound better, but the sampling rate crap is a gimmick. [editline]6th December 2012[/editline] it's like people care more about the maths of what they're hearing than anything else. charles manson records his music in jail with a tape recorder, therefore i will use the shittest equipment to listen to it. best experience.
if you care about anything past 24/96 you are literally stupid
the only requirement for ridiculously high sampling rates would be to get an exact audio copy of a vinyl record. that ain't gonna happen any time soon though.
I actually bought an audio cd in a shop today, it has been years since I bought a physical copy of an artist.
it has been years since I bought a physical copy of an artist.
Wow clones.

I'd rather have good equipment and just let the recording quality be the weak link. My dt990s can reproduce shit quality audio way better than your shit equipment can
yeah but shit deserves shit. you lose.
Shit is never acceptable and thus you are both hella gay.

I'm totally moved in to my new place now but we still have no internet On the plus side, pool, spa, sauna, gym, and a cloes by record store that sells great cds for $5 AUS
Guys! Need help...is using EAC the best for ripping to FLAC in your opinion or you guys have any other better alternative in mind?
cool bro make sure you buy a ton of CDs [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] what.cd suggests using EAC, so its probably the best choice.
cool bro make sure you buy a ton of CDs [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] what.cd suggests using EAC, so its probably the best choice.
Lived there for four days, have already bought 5 from redeye records which is a fantastic record store in sydney, it just won a national award as best independent music retailer This $5 place has essentials I need to grab like some bjork and some joy division and some other stuff, which is nice
who even buys cds anymore
if they're selling them for $5 I imagine not many people I love my little collection though and in australia vinyl is incredibly expensive and cds are less so
