In all seriousness I should probably sleep because it's nearly 6 am and I've got 2 days off work and I'd rather not spend them sleeping
So we got another dog. It's my sister's dog that her mother (rip) gave her. Neither she or her step dad could keep the dog anymore- if they wouldn't have found another home she would have to have been put down.
The thing that bothers me is that she was by my sister's step dad and it seems like no one took care of her. I just finished bathing her and damn. She's probably the dirtiest dog I've ever bathed. She's very slow aswell and just looks to be in bad condition.
We're gonna take good care of her though.

It's not necessarily that she was treated "bad" it's just almost like she was forgotten.
It seems like a classic case of "I want something furry to pet and cuddle but not take proper care of". A lot of people don't realize the responsibility that comes with having a dog
