My friends have their band originally called "Apophis". One doesn't like it, so decided they should all be "Defiance"
They were told that was too lame, so the guitar player recommended "Broken I Fly", and since the guitar player is the biggest crybaby in the world he got his way. I tried telling them it was terrible but NOPE. He got all butthurt when I politely told him that sounded like some wrist-cutting screamo band.
They want me to manage all their websites and make their graphics but it's going to be hard to do for such a terrible, unrepresentative name.
apophis is ok but defiance is terrible and broken I fly is literally the worst thing I've ever heard

I got acquainted with them in 2010. Started to become better friends with them in 2011 though. Hit them up when I went to Reykjavík a few times after Eistnaflug. In february ONI (my band) played as a supporting act for Sólstafir. They called me and asked me to help them with a few things. Since then we've been pretty tight. I gave them a chance to practice before their gig on Eistnaflug etc. The drummer (guy with the dreds, his name is GUÐMUNDUR!!!!) is the one I know the best.
