music scene here has quite a lot of metal bands which I don't really pay attention to but there's a great emo scene which is nice

Music scene here consists of those who go the music education program in school, traditional folk music and then a bunch of 40+ musicians who play rock, folk and a little blues. There is no proper band really. [editline]10th February 2013[/editline] And no electronica at all.

I live in a small town so there's no music scene here

Anyone here who do a lot of electronica or uses synths a lot? I will ask in the gig room too but it's not as active.

I live in a tiny little village in northern Ontario and the only live musical entertainment we have is a crazy old man who taps on the back of an empty margarine tub every friday night.

Melb has some pretty cool hardcore shows, not really hard to get to so its good

I know this guy who keeps talking to me about the new BMSR album Cobra Juicy and he says its ridiculous they tried to do "Glam Rock". His thought process is that the drums on Window Smasher and Hairspray Heart are very glam rock and says he can tell its glam rock by "Listening, studying and have a general knowledge of music". It's really not hard to pick up FM synthesis is pretty annoying but you don't get into it with analog synths
