Sure but when you do things like make laws, have any political leadership position, or if you're just active in a political question and need ethics as an argument - You have to consider ethics on a higher scale than just everyday life because not everything is as morally simple then.

We did ethics & morals in philosophy last year, it's quite interesting to learn about it even though you 'may' not use it its still hella interesting

Yeah it is. My teacher makes it really difficult though because she doesn't really tell us what is an assignment and what isn't. Or what we turn in and what we don't. She's got like six email addresses and three different websites and a "Assignment Schedule" for each site and they all differ.
i did ethics and philosophy at a-level so i can work out ways to justify all the horrible things i plan to do. Hell, i'm doing a history degree so i can mangle historical writers and events to justify the bloody coup and following genocides i think i might be doing.
