I download FLACs from bandcamp just because they [B]might[/B] sound better
flac only decreases the chances of ear discomfort for me.
otherwise i'm wholely fine with mp3. There's zero difference with AAC though.

personally i prefer to hook a mass fabricator up to my computer and make it create the album in the form of flawless 180g vinyl but i suppose if you aren't really bothered about music that much you could download it
