idk man I usually pirate things because I don't think its worth the extra money to have it imported but if its like 15 or less total I'll buy it
I don't pirate games but that's mostly because most of the games i'd feel justified pirating I don't want to play anyway.
I pirate quite a lot of music tho. Generally the stuff i download a lot of is stuff that hasn't/will never be reissued, or hasn't been reissued for ages. As much as i'd like to, I can't afford to pay £20 for a mid-ninties second-hand CD reissue of something so I end up downloading.
plus with music i like to try before I buy
I hardly ever pirate games, fighting DRM and release-day instability just isn't worth the $50 or so you might save by pirating it. I'd rather pay for something I'll enjoy than pirate something that ends up crashing every 10 minutes

Different song order and mixing, some songs are longer, some shorter, for example the 4th song on the jap version is the first song on the Southern Lord version, and it's longer and it has an awesome solo.

I pirated Portal 2 at first.
But my choice was "download it now and buy it when payday hits" or "get the [b]entire fucking game[/b] spoiled to me in it's entirety before I get a chance to even run through the first level"
I wanted to be able to experience the game proper. And either way Valve was going to get my money that Friday even if I thought the game turned out to be shite so yeah.
