I buy physical copies of music when I can, I'm not made out of fucking money. I also attend every show I can go. I spent fucking 40 dollars to see Defeater, which I only turned up in time to see and missed out on the other two bands which one was a local. In the smallest venue possible. I also bought merch.

I've been to like, I dunno three shows this year? Not many of the bands I like come to my city

I've been to about 30 this year

If I had more money I would go to more shows, and probably if I had a car. Or a full licence lol

I've cut back, I used to go to like 80+ a year. I'm just not as comfortable in the venues I'm at as I used to be

Fair enough, why is that? Problem is here in Aus, we have like, 4 or 5 major cities when bands go to and that's all they do when they tour Australia. Problem is my city is like 800km from where the bands I want to see are playing

different crowd in the bars I used to frequent. these guys are way drunker

never had that problem myself

I would go to more shows if I was old enough for the fun ones. I'd go to festivals too. But my age prevents that.

we were talking about concerts earlier so I'm gonna say that I'm seriously trying to cajole my parents into cutting my some slack in November. Jimmy Herring and Victor Wooten are coming on some Friday night in November and then the day after that the Chris Robinson Brotherhood are doing a show. they're going to be at this really small artsy club like place that's my personal favorite venue, so I'm really psyched for it.
