it can mean that but it's also another perjorative term for vagina basically so you can use it like "dream theater are absolute gash" eg they are very bad

Anyway, I will stay home from school tomorrow aswell, but I will try to get up at around 9 oclock and try to get all of the schoolwork I was supposed to finish last friday when dad disappeared. I haven't really been outside at all though so I'm also planning on taking the bus to town in the afternoon and have coffee with my friend. God I've slept all yesterday and all today cause I've been so exhausted, but I've been having terrible dreams.
If you're under the legal age, they will also call the police in whatever region you live in and contact your parents.
I had a valid reason to ask that question come on man don't be a dick.
yay 2 years on facepunch, i just noticed
Pft, lightweight [editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
If you're under the legal age, they will also call the police in whatever region you live in and contact your parents.
YEP totally indeed quite so
I had a valid reason to ask that question come on man don't be a dick.
Didn't mean to be sorry :v:
what, ofcourse not [editline]8th October 2012[/editline] yay 2 years on facepunch, i just noticed
coming up to my 4th year, place has changed quite a bit since then.
Fifth year represent
i'm coming up to 7 years fuck
choose a subject that will help you later in life. Too many people rush into stuff and choose a career that they find no joy in. Like meeee :-)
i only picked maths because i did well at gcse and needed another subject because the other two i had in mind didn't fit the timetable
i only picked maths because i did well at gcse and needed another subject because the other two i had in mind didn't fit the timetable
Happened to me last year. I got an A in GCSE English Lit and I needed a fourth subject. I dropped that after a week cause I hated it and changed to Chemistry cause the Physics classes were full. I ended up with an E at the end of it and finally managed to drop it this year
i only picked maths because i did well at gcse and needed another subject because the other two i had in mind didn't fit the timetable
yeah but GCSE is piss easy and Maths at A-Level will drive you insane. If you wanted to "choose another subject because you need it", then why not choose French or something? [editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
changed to Chemistry
why would you do that, Chemistry is literally the most headache inducing A-level to do. Physics is soothing in comparison.
i'm doing History and i have literally no idea what it relates to in terms of jobs. i don't really think about careers and shit because it generally triggers anxiety/depression which is absolute gash btw
It's a subject that doesn't close doors though, so it's still good.
subject that doesn't close doors.
please expand
I swear uni now is more just to prove that you worked that little bit harder. Most people look at experience over education, except in places where it's necessary information, but if you have had a job in that field already then you will still do well. No I am not nor do I plan to go to uni before you ask [editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
please expand
If you go to a job interview for an office job, they will go "Hm.. history. Difficuilt. Oh he got a 2/1, nice. Must be a bright, hard working kid" That kinda thing.
i'm coming up to 7 years fuck
How do you have 7 years on your back and yet only 1.78 k posts? :v: I'm only on my third
history at degree level. Do you study it yourself? I wish to know before I continue..
I didn't even do history at gcse, I was just using it for the example. I have a few friends doing it. They enjoy it, say it's challenging, all the normal stuff. You have to choose a specific course or it could get too broad, one of them made that mistake
How do you have 7 years on your back and yet only 1.78 k posts? :v: I'm only on my third
Well, some people just lurk more than post, I used to do nothing but lurk when I first signed up, granted my account isn't as old.
The Office is like the definition of awkwardness, hilarious
yeah but GCSE is piss easy and Maths at A-Level will drive you insane. If you wanted to "choose another subject because you need it", then why not choose French or something?
French was one of the ones I tried to do. Latin was the other. No philosophy at my school. No other languages available.
why would you do that, Chemistry is literally the most headache inducing A-level to do. Physics is soothing in comparison.
Had to take 4 subjects, Chemistry seemed like the next best option at the time. You don't think about how confusing the subject is when you're being put on the spot to choose one
interview for an office job
you don't need a history degree for an office job lol [editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
you're being put on the spot to choose one
the whole system is retarded. You should be given time to think things through than to be given literally weeks to decide your whole life.
you don't need a history degree for an office job lol
Not my point though. My point is if you do history as a degree, you'll still be safe getting another job that isn't history specific
Not my point though. My point is if you do history as a degree, you'll still be safe getting another job that isn't history specific
sure.. you're saying it's worth more to a person than to do something like "Business Management". But still... you're forking our £27k to be qualified to do a menial job.
sure.. you're saying it's worth more to a person than to do something like "Business Management". But still... you're forking our £27k to be qualified to do a menial job.
No I'm just saying it's not the end of the world if you do history and then never look for a job in the field. And holy shit it's £27k to go to uni?
And holy shit it's £27k to go to uni?
living expenses too, equates to about 18k so let's call it "going to uni will cost upwards of £50k".
this came on the radio today and I liked it
