you're right i'm having difficulty seeing things this past week... I'm squinting all the time and my eyes feel close to being welded shut. I was also forced to drink tea the whole time in China, tasted of ass.

I got these when I rebuilt my computer: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-PC3-12800-1600mHz-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B/dp/B004QBUL1C/ turns out one of the sticks was bad. I had never gotten bad RAM so I thought my motherboard was to blame. was about to send my motherboard back but then I put it in my brother's motherboard and it still crapped out
And now it's working, I switched around the RAM's in different slots, disconnected and reconnected my two harddrives back and forth one by one etc. Now it's working as it should be working, I'm using one of my old ram sticks and one of my newer ones. Could it be my PSU is acting up? That it for some reason can't provide enough power to everything... sometimes? That would explain my computer rebooting or going black randomly.
make sure you have the BSoD enabled. at first I thought my PSU was to blame because my computer kept rebooting but then I realised the option to display the BSoD was disabled [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] iirc it's an option when you smash F8 before booting

Different channels basically.
most motherboards are set up like 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B. you need to put your RAM in either 1A and 2A or 1B and 2B, otherwise they'll be single-channel
Dunno how your MoBo is set up but you're supposed to put each stick into a different coloured slot IIRC. Different channels basically.
some motherboards have in-a-row sequencing, some have every-other-slot sequencing. rtfm kids :D
basically if you have two sticks they both need to be in the same-colored slots
Here's how I have it set up, and how I always have and I don't think it's possible to set the sticks in a different way [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] http://www.google.se/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1920&bih=979&tbm=isch&tbnid=2CSCQthL2ENbbM:&imgrefurl=http://www.luzianiavirtual.com.br/loja/produto/MB-Asus-M4A78LT%25252dM-LE-p%257B47%257D-AMD-AM3-(95W)-2xDDR3%257B47%257D1PCI%25252de%257B47%257D2PCI%257B47%257D6SATA.html&imgurl=http://www.luzianiavirtual.com.br/loja/product_images/w/835/Asus_M4A78LT-M-LE__70002_zoom.jpg&w=600&h=532&ei=KT5GUIbCL8j24QSZrIDAAQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=758&vpy=145&dur=176&hovh=211&hovw=238&tx=124&ty=134&sig=116667357746841314761&page=1&tbnh=129&tbnw=145&start=0&ndsp=46&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0,i:81

I'm quite excited to see how the David Byrne/St Vincent album turns out. Anybody listened to the stream? My internet can't quite handle it today for some reason
I'm quite excited to see how the David Byrne/St Vincent album turns out. Anybody listened to the stream? My internet can't quite handle it today for some reason
isn't it meant to be a funk album? i have to say I'm surprised.
Been held over by school/being really damn tired, so I haven't posted much. Jumping back in again now to say that I'm gonna see the Devin Townsend Project and Fear Factory in November! Can't freaking wait!
Also seeing Devin and FF with some band that I cant remember later this year.
I would kill to see DTP live

That was anti-climactic, I was expecting a really shitty photoshopped picture of them and some stage lighting or some shit
