As far as I'm aware, mods came and told the music section to get itself together, especially the music chat thread. Predictably some regulars complained and absued the mods and clovis got perma'd, at least I think that's what happened

so i take it this happened before he asked people to enquire about his fetishes?
panda got banned for a month and made clovis the next day and what mikey said made a back story to try and cover up being an alt even though it was only a month ban. then flagdog came along and showed clovis posting history was australian and he kept bullshitting through it saying "nah i moved back to oz". then he made puddlez who was his cousin.
panda got slack and stopped making backstory for all the alts im disappointed

well essentially he just convinced himself, as a way to justify the fact he's mentally ill, that his alts were people and that he was running some kind of social experiment. He had three going near simultaneously at one point (being Reset only on steam, then being "Kai "avant" garnder or whatever and clovis on steam, msn, and facepunch). Basically Clovis was his first go at just being gay and as clovis he would just make posts similar those he made in the gay chat thread as gar just going "omg :3" and stuff when anyone would imply that he was cute. essentially completely harmless and totally gay, that was the character. When clovis was banned it had nothing to do with anything he had done on that account, it was just postal or someone getting sick of him and wiping out all of his accounts in one swoop for the hell of it similar to what happened recently.

Yeah, there was some story about how the clovis account used to belong to some other guy and he used to live here or there or whatever and "clovis" took it from this person (dunno why). That was the excuse he used regarding the australian IP then and I think he stuck to that story even after he got banned (for what reason I don't know). All of this was explained in that pm to zenpod or elu (don't remember which) that has been lost to the WINDS OF TIME

lol I forgot about puddlez. I just knew it was him the whole time and never assumed otherwise and never heard otherwise until after the ban.
also the thing that made clovis unique was that it was like a 2007 account which had me scratching my head even after he was banned. keep in mind the "character" of clovis literally never posted anything involving an opinion, but just posted "tee hee" or whatever every few pages and nothing else. How he had so many posts with an account like that is beyond my understanding
