I've tried it more than once in more than one location. Three out of three bad trips is what i'd call a shitty drug for recreation. Honestly, trying it at school was the worst, but it was also the most intense, there were some positives, but oh man the body load and paranoia really took a dump on those positives. The other two times i took the same dose at home 3 weeks later and each a week apart, since i thought it was just a bad trip, nope, was still completely not worth the trouble.
Second time didn't have so many negatives due to a more comfortable setting, but the positives were not very notable aside from music being fucking awesome. Also to note i am extremely green about taking any kind of drug, and that DPH trip was my first ever time getting high from anything. But that doesn't mean my advice is completely worthless.
On the third time, my tolerance had built so fast that all i did was get tired and have some mild auditory hallucinations. Also comparing giving advice about driving vs advice about drug use don't even compare. Most people NEED to drive or at least use a vehicle driven by someone, you don't NEED to get fucked on DPH.
From what i've experienced myself and what others have said, i'd definitely say DPH is a shitty drug choice, and personally if you're going for pharms that won't land you jail time, DXM is a far better bet.

I think we should all agree that DPH can lend itself to bad trips merely because of the effects, but I think Solomoncrunch has a good point with location/mindset. Further, I think the effects are entirely regulated by dosage, no matter your personal tolerance. If you want to get into a drug like DPH that has widely reported experiences from life shattering to nirvana, start slow and work your way up. Like I'm talking non-recreational doses up. It just makes sense that you would know yourself better that way, and not end up crying on the floor surrounded by dead loved ones and murderous spiders after your first time.
Keep in mind I've never tried DPH but this is just common sense about drugs. Never bite off more than you can chew.

This is exactly my point. If the first dose sucked, it was probably too high. Why recreate all the ingredients for a bad trip the second and third time around? Experiment, change variables, do science, learn your body.

Would I be able to take them all at once? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I just really want to try it out and don't want to die or something. I weigh like 220 lbs if that applies to the mg/lb amount.

That comes out to about 600mg, which is an okay first dose. I like to do 550 regularly, but I weigh less. However, if you want to try DPH, buy the off-brand stuff. I got 100 pills of 25mg each for the same price at [url=http://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Diphenhydramine-Hydrochloride-Antihistamine-Allergy-Relief-25mg-200ct/20629924]Walmart[/url]. Just tryin' to save you money.

Dude DPH sucks major ass the majority of the time and it'll probably suck even more if you're by yourself. You should probably wait til you can have someone tripsit you, there's no rush with these things.

i would really advice you to have a tripsitter with you. you're going to be fully hallucinating and there's a pretty big chance that you're going to act upon what you're seeing. being [I]that[/I] delirious while you're by yourself might result in you making a ton of noise or maybe even trash your whole room etc.

My buddy helped me out a lot with whether things were real or not. Someone you trust to not fuck with you is best.
I don't get why Benadryl brand DPH is so much more expensive than the store brand. A bottle of 100 pills of benadryl costs about $13 whereas BJ's (which is the same thing as costco, a wholesale store) brand costs $8 for a bottle of 400 pills.

Are they the same dose pills? If so, it's just brand name Mathew effect. Benadryl has the popularity, therefore they can sell their product for more.
It is the same dose, 25mg of DPH per pill.
Perhaps the inactive ingredients are more expensive. (Flavoring, etc)
That seems like it could be why. Either way, I know that I'm not gonna buy Benadryl any time soon.
Well I just took 20 pills because I guess it's a modest dose and don't have that tripsitter. Still planning to do a gram in the future with my friend. No effects yet. But I dropped a pill and found my first pipe that I lost a month ago so that's a positive so far. :v:

If you're alone and you don't have to worry about control go for a higher dosage.
If you take too little (300mg) you'll just pass out, if you take around 500mg you'll feel incredibly uneasy, awful but might see some stuff depending on your weight. If you take the 700mg you'll trip balls and the uneasy awful feeling will go away.
Either trip balls or feel like your stomach is churning while feeling the darkest most horribly uneasy feeling.

So that was interesting. I only saw one spider but cobwebs were fucking everywhere, including my face when I looked in the mirror. Also I kept seeing a pitch black grosshopper but with the texture of a black scorpion and a little bigger too. I saw maggots all over my curtains for some reason. Besides the feeling that something horrible was going to happen and making me hyper paranoid, I still thought it was pretty fun.
So I ended up just taking the 300mg dose and chilling in my bed for a couple hours. I didn't actually feel that bad to be honest. I didn't get any visual hallucinations but a couple times I heard my mom saying "hi" to me, which I know wasn't real because she went to sleep 3 hours before I did lol. I also started hearing what seemed to me like a waterfall, so it was kinda relaxing.
I'll try 500mg tonight.

what is dph used for non-recreationally? I see up they're they're allergy pills, but I was under the assumptions benadryl was a sleeping pill (we don't have that brand in NZ iirc)
is it just use for those two/one purposes?
